A fuel cell system which is mounted and used for a portable and small electric device comprises a cell unit (1) comprising one or more fuel cells (14), a fuel tank unit (3) for storing a fuel to be supplied to the cell unit (1), a fuel feed unit (4) for supplying the fuel of the fuel tank unit (3) to the cell unit (1), and an opening (7) for supplying an oxidizer gas to the cell unit (1), in a thin housing (2) having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, wherein the fuel tank unit (3), fuel feed unit (4) and cell unit (1) are located at one direction between two opposite short side faces (83a, 83b) of the housing (2). A large-capacity and high-output small fuel cell system is provided by such structure.

A constant-temperature liquid circulating apparatus including a constant-temperature liquid circuit section, a refrigerating circuit section and a control section in which the refrigerating circuit section includes a main circuit section having a compressor whose revolution speed is controlled by an inverter power source. The main circuit section has a condenser, an electronic expansion valve and an evaporator, and the refrigerating circuit section also includes a hot gas circuit section which bypasses the condenser and which has an electronic expansion valve. The constant-temperature circuit section includes a heat exchanger, a temperature sensor and a circulating unit; and the control section controls the opening degree of the electronic expansion valve, and the revolution speed of the compressor according to a signal from the temperature sensor, thereby controlling the temperature of constant-temperature liquid supplied to a load to a predetermined temperature.

In a magnetic driving device, a fixed core has a housing portion, in which a plunger is housed to reciprocatingly move, and an attracting portion toward which the plunger is attracted upon energizing a coil. The housing portion is provided with a ring portion, which is formed by machining an outer circumference wall thereof and whose thickness is thinner than that of a part of the housing portion adjacent to the ring portion to an extent that mechanical strength of the housing portion is not damaged. The ring portion is provided with a plurality of through-holes penetrating radially the wall thereof. A magnetic flux area of the ring portion is limited due to the thin wall and the through-holes so that magnetic resistance is enlarged.

The invention provides a personal data assistant terminal with radio having data transmission and reception functions by a radio wave wherein the applied power supply mode of a CPU can be changed over to a power supply mode required by a peripheral circuit to the CPU. When a power supply mode change-over signal representing a power supply mode which is to be entered subsequently and a power supply mode defining signal for defining the power supply mode represented by the power supply mode change-over signal are inputted from the outside to a power supply control section of a CPU, a CPU core in the CPU changes over the applied power supply mode of the CPU to the power supply mode represented by the power supply mode change-over signal.

A powered sliding device for a vehicle sliding door comprises a motor, a wire drum rotated by the motor, a wire cable provided between the wire drum and the sliding door, an optical sensor for outputting a detecting signal when the wire drum rotates, a controller for calculating from the detecting signal at least one of a rotational speed of the wire drum, a rotational amount of the wire drum and a rotational direction of the wire drum, a latch unit provided in the sliding door and engageable with a striker, a power supply switch for supplying electric power to the optical sensor. The power supply switch stops supplying the power to the optical sensor while the door is being closed.

A power supply circuit efficiently saves electric energy consumed by a central processing unit and a peripheral assembly through coordination between power supply modes of the central processing unit and the peripheral assembly. The central processing unit has a register for establishing a status of an internal power supply of the central processing unit, a first mechanism for changing the internal power supply into the status established by the register, and a second mechanism for outputting a status signal indicative of the status. The peripheral assembly having a peripheral circuit, a peripheral device, and a power supply control block for changing power supply statuses and clock statuses of the peripheral circuit and the peripheral device based on the status signal outputted from the second mechanism.

A coordinate measuring auxiliary tool including a cylindrical shaped body that is attached to an outer circumference of a coordinate measuring probe, and a clamping mechanism for positioning and fixing the cylindrical shaped body to a tip of the probe. Measurement of a thin plate-shaped object to be measured can be easily and accurately performed with the coordinate measuring auxiliary tool having a simple construction and low price. At least a part of the cylindrical shaped body may be transparent, and a position of the cylindrical shaped body to the tip of the probe can be adjusted.
