Abstract: A terminal apparatus includes a receiver and a transmitter. The receiver receives, from a base station, a downlink assignment index (DAI) that is transmitted by means of a downlink control information (DCI) format. The DAI indicates an accumulative number of a transmitted physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) included in a group of PDSCHs. A range of the accumulative number of which the DAI is indicative is variably configured. The transmitter, in operation, transmits, to the base station, hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information based on the DAI.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a circuitry and a transmitter. In operation, the circuitry generates a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) and generates downlink control information indicating a mapping pattern of the DMRS from a plurality of mapping patterns, and the transmitter transmits the DMRS and the downlink control information. The plurality of mapping patterns include a first mapping pattern and a second mapping pattern. Resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern are same as a part of resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern. A number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern is larger than a number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern.

Abstract: In the multiple short sequence based SRS, multiple items of sequence data having a short sequence length corresponding to a partial band are used for transmitting SRS in discontinuous bands. In the multiple short sequence based SRS, a terminal specifies a frequency domain to be used for transmitting a reference signal using predetermined sequence data, applies a phase shift index associated with the specified frequency domain to the reference signal, and transmits the reference signal to which the phase shift index is applied by using the specified frequency domain.

A receiver of a user equipment receives a Fast Retransmission Indicator, referred to as FRI. The FRI indicates whether or not a base station requests a retransmission of a previously transmitted data packet. A transmitter of the user equipment retransmits the data packet using the same redundancy version as already used for the previous transmission of the data packet.

Abstract: A DCI receiving unit receives downlink control information (DCI) indicative of allocation of an uplink (UL) signal of a first TTI (long TTI) or an uplink signal of a second TTI (sTTI) having a shorter TTI length than the first TTI; a transmission power determination unit determines transmission power of the uplink signal of the first TTI and transmission power of the uplink signal of the second TTI; and a transmitting unit transmits the uplink signal of the first TTI and the uplink signal of the second TTI by using the determined transmission power on the basis of the downlink control information. The transmission power determination unit reserves desired transmission power for the uplink signal of the second TTI in the first TTI in a case where decoding of the downlink control information indicative of allocation of the uplink signal of the second TTI to be transmitted within the first TTI (e.g., a subframe) is completed before start of transmission of the uplink signal of the first TTI.
