An example method of a user equipment (UE) may include determining a configuration of a set of congestion control measurement resources comprising one or more receiving resources and one or more transmitting resources for transmission of an activity indication signal for sidelink communication. The example method further includes measuring received signal strength indicator (RSSI) on at least one of the one or more receiving resources.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a wireless device maps data, a unique word (UW) sequence, and a suppression signal to a set of reserved time-domain resources based on a time-domain resource mapping and reservation rule to produce DFT input data. DFT processing is performed on the DFT input data to produce IFFT input data. IFFT processing is performed on the IFFT input data to produce the GI-based waveform with a data part (e.g., non-zero part) and a tail part (e.g., zero tail part). The wireless device may further transmit the GI-based waveform.

A user equipment (UE) may receive from a network entity first control signaling identifying, of multiple cell groups configured at the UE, an inter-cell mobility configuration for a set of one or more cell groups for use at the UE. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support guard interval (GI) configurations for multiple links. For example, a user equipment (UE) may determine a first GI duration for a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second GI duration for a second TRP, when the UE is operating in a multi-TRP mode. The UE may determine the GI durations based on a difference in timing between signal reception from the first and second TRPs and may transmit a signal to one or both of the TRPs to indicate the GI durations. Based on the indicated GI durations, the first and second TRPs may transmit signaling to the UE that includes or implements the corresponding GI duration for each TRP. For example, the signaling may include a GI appended at the end of each symbol period that has a GI duration corresponding to the respective TRP.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a grant scheduling a first higher priority channel that has a higher priority than each channel of multiple lower priority channels scheduled for the UE. The UE may drop a first lower priority channel of the multiple lower priority channels that at least partially overlaps in time with the first higher priority channel based on determining that the grant is received prior to a multiplexing deadline for the multiple lower priority channels. The UE may then transmit or receive a first transmission using the first higher priority channel and a second transmission using a second lower priority channel of the multiple lower priority channels based on the dropping.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support configuration of aperiodic sounding reference signal transmission and triggering. A base station may transmit, within a first transmission time interval (TTI), a grant triggering a user equipment (UE) to transmit an aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS), and may identify offset information indicating a TTI offset relative to the grant. The base station may determine a second TTI for the A-SRS based on the TTI offset. A UE may detect, within a first TTI, the grant triggering the UE to transmit the A-SRS, identify the offset information indicating the TTI offset relative to the grant, and determine the second TTI for transmitting the A-SRS based on the TTI offset. The UE may transmit the A-SRS in an SRS resource of the second TTI, and the base station may monitor the SRS resource of the second TTI for the A-SRS.

Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink (UL) grant (e.g., dynamic UL grant, UL configured grant (CG)) from a network, but may decide to skip the UL grant altogether or not transmit any user plane data on the UL grant. In such instances, the UE may maintain or expedite expiration associated with one or more timers (e.g., discontinuous reception (DRX) and bandwidth part (BWP) inactivity timers, secondary cell (SCell) deactivation timer, etc.). The UE may also maintain or expedite expiration associated with one or more timers if it receives downlink (DL) transmission (e.g., DL semi-persistent scheduling (SPS)) from the network that includes no user plane data.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide for the pairing of an inter-band carrier with a time division duplex (TDD) carrier. If the paired band is a frequency division duplex (FDD) band, then base stations and mobile devices may transmit and receive additional thin control channels on FDD carriers to enable full duplex operations. If the paired band is a TDD band, then a conjugate or inverse carrier may be used such that full duplex, or a close approximation thereto, is achieved. With the introduction of a paired channel and fast control channels, rapid uplink/downlink switching may be achieved for TDD carriers efficiently and effectively. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
