Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that provide for indicating device capabilities and/or device type or category, such as UE-to-UE direct communications via a PC5 interface, for aircraft-to-everything (A2X) communications. An A2X configuration may be provided that allows aerial UEs, such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to indicate support for specific A2X functions. A2X functionalities may indicate support for transmit and receive communications, receive-only communications, or transmit-only communications. UE capability for A2X communications may be provided using one or more A2X-specific capability bits in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capability report or a sidelink capability report, that may individually or jointly indicate support for broadcast remote identification (BRID) transmissions, detect-and-avoid (DAA) transmissions, both, and/or other A2X communications. Further, a UAV may report one or more access link capabilities related to UAVs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may apply a discrete Fourier transform (DFT) orthogonal cover code (OCC) to a first virtual hop that is associated with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission. The UE may apply the DFT OCC to a second virtual hop that is associated with the PUCCH transmission, wherein the first virtual hop and the second virtual hop are associated with equal quantities of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, wherein a size of the DFT OCC is based at least in part on the quantities of OFDM symbols, and wherein the first virtual hop and the second virtual hop are not associated with physical frequency hopping. A user equipment (UE) may receive control information that schedules a multicast traffic channel transmission and that indicates a bandwidth of the transmission. The UE may receive, in accordance with the control information, one or more instances of the transmission, where a quantity of the one or more instances is based at least in part on the bandwidth of the transmission. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may receive control information that schedules a multicast traffic channel transmission and that indicates whether the UE is to transmit an acknowledgement in response to the transmission. The UE may receive, in accordance with the control information, the transmission, where the multicast traffic channel transmission is received over a bandwidth that is based at least in part on whether the UE is to transmit the acknowledgement in response to the multicast traffic channel transmission.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for restrictions on sidelink transmission parameters for UEs. The sidelink transmission parameters comprise a height based condition based on a height threshold. The sidelink transmission parameters indicate for the UE to transmit sidelink transmissions using a first restriction to transmit a transport block when the UE height is greater than or equal to the height threshold and to transmit sidelink transmissions using a second message and a second restriction to transmit the transport block when the UE height is below the height threshold.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a network node includes transmitting, to a group of user equipment (UEs), radio resource control (RRC) signaling to configure a function for enabling and disabling hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a set of N instances of a multicast transport block (TB). The method also includes transmitting, to the group of UEs, the set of N instances of the multicast TB. The method further includes transmitting, to the group of UEs, a downlink control information (DCI) message on a group-common physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a group-common radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) configured for the group of UEs. The method also includes receiving, from one or more UEs of the group of UEs, a HARQ feedback message associated with one or more instances of the set of N instances after transmitting all N instances.
