摘要： A lid open-close apparatus including: a lid openably mounted in a concave portion, which is provides at a vehicle side; a lock device for locking a closed state of the lid; and an operating element, which is disposed at the vehicle side close to the concave portion, for releasing the lock device, wherein: the lock device has a lock piece, which is provided in the lid and moves into and out of the lid from a peripheral edge thereof and is usually elastically pushed in such a way as to project from the peripheral edge thereof and engages with an engaging hole provided in an inner periphery of the concave portion; and the operating element has a pusher adapted to push a receiving portion, which is provided in a part interconnected to the lock piece, to thereby cancel engagement of the lock piece.

摘要： A steering assist apparatus that assists a driver when backing a vehicle in an S-shaped path or parallel parking. The apparatus displays guidance marking on a monitor screen and the driver refers to the guidance marking, which permits the driver to easily back the vehicle to a desired position. The apparatus includes a camera, a monitor, an angle sensor, obstacle sensors, an image processing unit, a controller and a monitor controller. The image processing unit computes the predicted path of the vehicle at the current wheel angle. The monitor shows an image captured by the camera. The image processing unit generates data representing a guidance marking based on the predicted path and superimposes the marking on the monitor screen. The location of the marking on the screen is determined based on the current wheel angle. The marking represents part of the predicted path. Specifically, the marking matches the width of the vehicle. In the monitor screen, a marking is separated from the rear bumper of the vehicle by a distance corresponding to the wheelbase of the vehicle.

When a reference plane and a butting plane are specified within the respective planes, a temporary development diagram is generated in which the butting plane is butted to the reference plane. A solid figure is generated by bending the temporary development diagram based on a bending condition and displayed interlockingly in a region different from a region where the temporary development diagram is displayed. A development diagram obtained by extracting external frame loop and bending lines of the temporary development diagram is transmitted to CAM on a preceding stage.
