    摘要: The invention relates to a method for screening anti-epileptic drugs using fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster by generating single and double mutant lines of K+ channel genes in Drosophila melanogaster, culturing mutant lines on Drosophila medium under standard conditions, identifying the mutants, separating male flies under ether anesthesia, supplying the mutant males with medium containing each of the four antiepileptic drugs, phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbaamazepine and valproate, separately, administering ether anesthesia to the drug treated flies and examining their leg shaking intensity under stereomicroscope, observing the antiepileptic effect in the drug treated males wherein a reduced intensity of leg shaking, compared to leg shaking in normally fed etherized males, is indicative of antiepileptic activity in the drug.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for the production of two molecules of 4-aryl-2 butanols having the general formula 1 given below: Wherein R═H or glucose from the leaves of Taxus wallichiana, which comprises: (a) defatting air dried, pulverized leaves with aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, (b) extracting the defatted leaves with chlorinated solvents and polar solvent successively at room temperature, (b) concentrating the chlorinated solvent soluble faction to a residue and treating the residue with aqueous solution of alkali and extracting with chlorinated solvents, (d) acidifying the alkali layer with mineral acid and extracting with ethyl acetate and concentrating the ethyl acetate phase to give compound of formula 1 where R═H, (e) concentrating the polar solvent fraction from step (b) to a residue and treating the residue with aqueous solution of alkali and extracting with chlorinated solvent, and (f) acidifying the alkali phase with mineral acid and extracting with ethyl acetate and concentrating the ethyl acetate to give compound of formula 1 where R=glucose.

    摘要: This disclosure relates generally to sequential state elements (SSEs). More specifically, embodiments of flip-flops are disclosed, along with computerized methods and systems of designing the same. In one embodiment, the flip-flop includes a substrate and subcircuits that are formed on the substrate. The subcircuits provide subfunctions, wherein each of the subcircuits provides at least one of the subfunctions. More specifically, the subfunctions are provided in a sequential logical order by the subcircuits so that the flip-flop provides a flip-flop function. However, the subcircuits are interleaved out of the sequential logical order with respect to a corresponding subfunction provided by each of the subcircuits along a vector defined by the substrate. In this manner, interleaving the subcircuits along the vector of the substrate can provide separation between charge collection nodes without requiring increases in size. Thus, the flip-flop can be more compact and less expensive to manufacture.

    摘要: A feed-forward device is provided for a mixer including a diplexer having a radio frequency port, an intermediate frequency port, and a common port; and a mixing circuit receiving an in-phase local oscillator signal and an out-of-phase local oscillator signal and having an output coupled to the common port of the diplexer. The feed-forward device includes: a first signal sampler having an input adapted to sample the in-phase local oscillator signal and to output a sampled in-phase local oscillator signal; a second signal sampler having an input adapted to sample the out-of-phase local oscillator signal and to output a sampled out-of-phase local oscillator signal; and an arrangement for coupling the sampled in-phase local oscillator signal and the sampled out-of-phase local oscillator signal to the common port of the diplexer.
