摘要: A protective circuit for a secondary battery pack advantageously having a simple circuit configuration while maintaining the safety of banks in the circuit. Each protective circuit has banks adapted to be charged or to discharge voltage, each bank being coupled to a controller that senses the charging or discharging voltage of the bank and outputs a predetermined value if overcharging or over-discharging is sensed. A level shifter is adapted to shift the voltage output from the controller to an adjusted voltage approximately equal to the voltage output from one of the other controllers. A switching means controls the stopping of charging or discharging of the banks.

摘要: An electrode plate of a rechargeable battery that is capable of preventing wastage of a base film and preventing an active material layer from being irregularly formed and a method for fabricating the same is disclosed. The electrode plate is fabricated by continuously coating the active material layer lengthwise along a surface of the base film and cutting the base film in a direction substantially perpendicular to a length of the base film or in a direction that forms a predetermined angle in relation to the length of the base film. The method includes forming an active material layer lengthwise on a base film except for on predetermined parts of both ends of the base film by continuously coating active materials, and forming an electrode plate by cutting the base film formed with the active material layer in a direction substantially perpendicular to the length of the base film using a cutter.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a washing method of a washing machine. The method comprises supplying water into the washing machine, forming an agitating water stream by rotating at least one of an inner tub and a pulsator to generate agitating force, and disentangling laundry by rotating the inner tub in one direction at a speed causing the laundry to be forced against an inner wall of the inner tub by centrifugal force while allowing water to drop down into the inner tub after being raised in the washing machine. With the method, an inner tub is rotated in one direction so as to form an alpha-shaped water stream at a laundry disentangling step in a state wherein water is supplied to a predetermined level, so that the laundry is completely forced against the inner wall of the inner tub by circumferential force, thereby enhancing washing and rinsing efficiency as well as disentangling effect.

摘要: Provided is a multiple-gate metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) transistor and a method for manufacturing the same, in which a channel is implemented in a streamline shape, an expansion region is implemented in a gradually increased form, and source and drain regions is implemented in an elevated structure by using a difference of a thermal oxidation rate depending on a crystal orientation of silicon and a geographical shape of the single-crystal silicon pattern. As the channel is formed in a streamline shape, it is possible to prevent the degradation of reliability due to concentration of an electric field and current driving capability by the gate voltage is improved because the upper portion and both sides of the channel are surrounded by the gate electrodes. In addition, a current crowding effect is prevented due to the expansion region increased in size and source and drain series resistance is reduced by elevated source and drain structures, thereby increasing the current driving capability.
