    摘要: To provide an adequate biasing load to an endless transmission belt by biasing forces of a plurality of springs with different biasing forces and oil pressure biasing force to permit an easy adjustment. In a structure which includes an almost cylindrical plunger, a tensioner body into which the plunger is fitted, high pressure oil chambers are formed by the tensioner body and the plunger and supplied with oil pressure. Two tensioner springs, a rigid spring and a soft spring are supported by the tensioner body and are arranged in series for biasing the plunger. The plunger in its fully stretched state is supported by the serially arranged rigid and soft tensioner springs. In a condition when the plunger is pushed back from this fully stretched state by a prescribed amount or further, the plunger is supported by the rigid tensioner spring.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method for filtering glitches in a data communications controller receiving asynchronous input data signals varying between two signal levels representing two bit values and having a predetermined input bit period, and sending output data signals corresponding to the input data signals. Glitches are detected in the input data signals by detecting reversals of signal level having a duration less than the input bit period. A glitch time value corresponding to the glitch duration is determined, and then a sampling clock rate is set at a rate determined from the glitch time value. The input data signals are sampled at the sampling clock rate to generate a sequence of input data samples. A voting number of input data samples are monitored and an output signal is provided, representing the value of a majority of the sequential input data samples.

    摘要: A card controller for a computer system allows the insertion of flash memory cards which share a common socket into a computer system for which there is no standardized driver for at least one of the card types. The system can accommodate MMC, SD and SDIO cards in personal computers by having two controllers within the card control circuit, one of which is a standardized controller having a standardized software driver, which can support at least one of the card types that can be inserted into the socket. The other controller is a non-standardized controller which has its own non-standardized software driver, and supports at least another card type that can be inserted into the socket. The non-standardized controller powers up the card upon receiving a card detect signal and determines if it's a card type that it supports. If it is, it supports the card in a normal fashion. If it is not, it sets a switch bit, and powers down the card. The switch bit switches a multiplexer to switch the signals to/from the card from the non-standardized controller to the standardized controller. The card detect signal is asserted to the standardized controller, which sends an interrupt to the standardized software driver, to activate the driver. The software driver powers up and initializes the card, reports the presence of the card to the operating system, and operates with the card normally. When the card is removed from the socket, the card detect signal alerts the switching controller to switch the multiplexer so that these signals are again sent to the non-standardized controller, and the process repeats.

    摘要: A hybrid type compressor is provided that is drivable by an electric motor and an external driving source. The hybrid type compressor includes a housing and a compression mechanism. A shaft is rotatably supported by the housing for transmitting rotational driving force to the compression mechanism. The electric motor unit generates rotational driving force for rotating the shaft and includes a stator fixed to the housing and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator. The hybrid type compressor also includes a pulley for receiving rotational driving force generated by the external driving source and for transmitting the rotational driving force to the shaft. Additionally, a one-way clutch is provided between the pulley and the shaft for allowing the rotational driving force generated by the external driving source to be transmitted only from the pulley to the shaft.

    摘要: In a scroll type compressor, when the operation of the compressor is stopped, compression chambers, for compressing a fluid, and a suction chamber are communicated with each other through bypass holes, and a spool valve to open and close the holes, so that the pressure in the compression chambers are lowered and the occurrence of a shock caused by a sharp increase in the load is prevented at the next start. Since the discharge pressure to drive the spool valve is introduced from a position upstream of the discharge valve, pressure is quickly lowered when the compressor stops, so that the spool valve can be quickly opened. Therefore, even when the compressor is frequently started and stopped, the occurrence of a shock can be positively prevented when the compressor starts.
