    摘要: A hybrid type compressor is provided that is drivable by an electric motor and an external driving source. The hybrid type compressor includes a housing and a compression mechanism. A shaft is rotatably supported by the housing for transmitting rotational driving force to the compression mechanism. The electric motor unit generates rotational driving force for rotating the shaft and includes a stator fixed to the housing and a rotor rotatable with respect to the stator. The hybrid type compressor also includes a pulley for receiving rotational driving force generated by the external driving source and for transmitting the rotational driving force to the shaft. Additionally, a one-way clutch is provided between the pulley and the shaft for allowing the rotational driving force generated by the external driving source to be transmitted only from the pulley to the shaft.

A sub-intake passageway, in which a shaft seal unit is provided, is diverted from the main intake passageway and is opened to the outer wall sided chamber before the chamber is sealingly closed so that a flow of gas, from the inlet port, is introduced into the chamber, the gas is positively fed to the shaft seal unit, and the shaft seal unit is lubricated.

    摘要: A variable discharge-amount compressor includes a compression unit for compressing refrigerant, and a discharge-amount varying unit for varying a discharge amount of refrigerant discharged from the compression unit. The discharge-amount varying unit has a first control room communicating with inlet and outlet of the compression unit, a second control room communicating with the inlet, and a third control room communicating with the second control room through a orifice. The first control room communicates with the inlet through a control passage opened and closed by a control valve. Further, a bypass passage communicating with the inlet is opened when the control passage is opened. Therefore, when an engine for driving the compressor is rotated to be accelerated, a pressure difference is generated between a pressure inside the second control room and a pressure inside the third control room, thereby opening the control passage and the bypass passage. Thus, the compressor can reduce a discharge amount of refrigerant during an acceleration of the engine without any extra detector or control device, resulting in a low production cost.

    摘要: A swash plate type variable capacity compressor having rotary valves that rotate together on a rotating shaft. The rotary valves are arranged on the shaft in such a manner that, upon one complete rotation, the rotary valves are connected, in sequential manner, for respective rotating angles, with circumferentially spaced piston chambers via respective intake passageways on the rotary valves. The arrangement between the intake passageways and the piston chamber changes in accordance with the axial position of the rotary valves on the shaft. Control of the rotating angle varies the effective volume of the piston chambers, thereby continuously varying the compressor capacity.

    摘要: A thrust bearing mechanism receives thrust force which is an element force of a compression counter-force acting on a movable scroll member, and which is perpendicular to the orbital direction of the movable scroll member. The thrust bearing mechanism includes plural substantially cylindrically-shaped first and second rollers. The first roller rotates in one direction, and the second roller rotates perpendicularly to the first roller. Thus, the contact surface area of the rollers is larger than that in which spherical rollers receive the thrust force, thereby suppressing the compressor from being enlarged to accommodate increased thrust forces, and improving the reliability and durability of the compressor.

    摘要: A compact, lightweight electric motor driven compressor suitable for an air conditioning system using a CO2 refrigerant is disclosed. The thickness of a motor casing is reduced by using the gaps formed in the motor portion in a motor casing as a part of a low-pressure intake chamber, while forming a part of the discharge chamber by utilizing the annular gap between the inner surface of a pump casing and the outer surface of a compressor portion. In the case where CO2 refrigerant is used, the compressor portion can be reduced in size and therefore a dead space is generated due to the difference in size with the motor casing. Since this dead space is used as a discharge chamber, the capacity of the discharge chamber can be increased to suppress the discharge pulsation.

    摘要: A spool 9 is connected to the rotating shaft 1 so that the spool 9 is slidable with respect to the shaft 1, while the rotating movement of the shaft 1 is transmitted to the spool 9. The spool 9 is formed with a first recess 9-3 of a reduced circumferential extension for obtaining a reduced compression capacity and a second recess 9-4 of an increased circumferential extension for obtaining a full capacity of the compressor. An intake pressure is always opened to a side of the spool, while an intermediate chamber is formed on the other side of the spool. A spring 10 is arranged for causing the spool 9 to be moved toward the intermediate pressure chamber. At the instant the compressor is brought into operation, introduction of the intake gas occurs via the first recess 9-4, thereby obtaining a compression capacity of 3 to 5% compared to the full capacity of the compressor.
