    摘要: Implementations of systems, methods and apparatus include aspects of resource conservation strategies that may be useful for a USB compliant device that experiences resource limitations over durations longer than contemplated by the USB standards. Implementations of systems, methods and apparatus disclosed herein enable a USB compliant device to selectively process interrupts and/or other overhead resulting from USB communications between a host and the device. By not processing some interrupts and/or other overhead, based in part on the current level of resource utilization, a device can free up resources needed to process relatively high data-rate incoming traffic from the host. In some implementations, when locally implemented techniques prove to be insufficient, the device may optionally request that the host reduce the data-rate on the downlink.

For example, certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to a method for wireless communication including determining a transmit opportunity for transmitting SR for uplink resources based, at least in part, on a discontinuous reception (DRX) time cycle. According to certain aspects, a user equipment (UE) may delay transmitting the SR based on the DRX time cycle to prevent repeated interruption of the DRX cycle that may reduce benefits of the power-saving DRX scheme.

    摘要: A method is provided for facilitating preservation of session context information during an inter-radio access technology service retry. A user equipment (UE) may initiate a data transmission for a first service over a wireless communication session with a first network. Upon ascertaining that the first service has failed over the first network, a failover procedure is initiated by sending a service request for a second service to the first network. The second service may be distinct from the first service and has the effect of suspending the wireless communication session with the first network. The UE then resends the data transmission for the first service over a second network. The UE then resumes use of the wireless communication session over the first network after resending the data transmission over the second network. This resumption is done by using context information for the wireless communication session preserved prior to the suspension.

    摘要: Techniques for enabling a user equipment (UE) to return to a wireless network after failure to obtain a particular service (e.g., voice service) are described. The UE may determine that the wireless network does not support the particular service at a first location (e.g., the current UE location). In response, the UE may disable the wireless network and may refrain from attempting to obtain the particular service (or possibly any service) from the wireless network. The UE may thereafter re-enable the wireless network based on a trigger, which may result from a timer, an event, or broadcast information from another wireless network. After re-enabling the wireless network, the UE may perform cell search and system selection and may detect and select the wireless network. The UE may determine that the wireless network supports the particular service at a second location and may obtain the particular service from the wireless network.
