摘要： An exemplary method for conserving power of a portable communication device includes supplying voltage by a power supply of the portable communication device; distributing one or more corresponding voltages to other components; the portable communication device entering a normal mode and enabling user-selected prompts after being powered by one of said voltages; generating digital voltage signals corresponding to the voltage supplied by the power supply; detecting a voltage of the digital voltage signals to obtain a detected voltage; comparing the detected voltage with a predetermined value; changing a current mode of the portable communication device from the normal mode to a power conserving mode, if the detected voltage is equal to or less than the predetermined value and the current mode is the normal mode; and disabling a pickup button of the portable communication device. Thereby, an operational time of other units of the portable communication device can be prolonged.

摘要： The present invention provides an audio processing apparatus for automatically controlling gain. The audio processing apparatus includes an audio signal source and a sound reproduction device. The sound reproduction device attaches to the audio signal source, which includes a storage unit for storing a default gain value and a gain index table. The gain index table lists genre types with a genre gain value of each of the genre types. After receiving a play command signal, the audio signal source fetches an audio file to be played, reads a genre type of the audio file from a tag thereof, and processing the audio file to generate audio signals. The audio signal source further reads a genre gain value of the genre type from the gain index table, amplifies the audio signals by the genre gain value, and sends the amplified audio signals to the sound reproduction device to reproduce corresponding sounds.

摘要： An input device capable of locking a computer system is provided. The input device has an interface, a pressure sensor, and a microcontroller. The interface is for communicating with the computer system. The pressure sensor is for generating pressure sensing signals if pressed. The microcontroller is configured for scanning occurrence of the pressure sensing signals in real time, and generating and transmitting a lock signal through the interface to signal the computer system to perform a system lock operation if the microcontroller has not detected the pressure sensing signals in a predetermined time period. A related method is also provided.

摘要： An apparatus and method for automatically selecting an audio play mode mainly is provided. The apparatus includes an audio reading unit and a play mode selecting unit. The audio reading unit reads an audio data frame, obtains and recognizes a play mode identifier from a frame header of the audio data frame, and generates an associated play mode control signal according to the recognized play mode identifier. The play mode selecting unit selects a corresponding play mode to output the audio data frame according to the play mode control signal from the audio reading unit. A related method is also provided.

The present invention also provides a system for generating the play-list, making the play-list more tailored to a user's listening preferences.
