摘要： The air-fuel (A/F) ratio controller of an internal combustion engine related to the invention detects occurrence of abnormal condition in a heater on the basis of the resistance value of this heater which heats an oxygen sensor generating a specific voltage responsive to the difference of oxygen concentration between atmosphere and exhaust gas of the engine and of an oxygen pump allowing the pump current flow in order that the voltage can be the predetermined value. If abnormal condition arises in the heater, the A/F ratio controller stops fuel feedback control operation. The A/F ratio controller related to the invention forms a Wheatstone bridge circuit which includes the heater mentioned above and detects occurrence of an abnormal condition in the heater on the basis of the equilibrium condition of signal outputted from the Wheatstone bridge circuit.

摘要： A method for applying an electrode mixture paste includes unwinding a core material wound in a coil shape; applying an electrode mixture paste to both sides of the core material; adjusting an application amount of the electrode mixture paste; drying a paste-coated sheet with the electrode mixture paste applied to the both sides thereof; and winding the paste-coated sheet in a coil shape. The electrode mixture paste is circulated and supplied by a circulation means having a storage function and a stirring function. The application method can achieve stable application accuracy even when a paste-coated sheet is continuously produced using a plurality of lots of electrode mixture pastes containing different types of powders having a large difference in the specific gravity.

The amount-of-developer regulating apparatus includes a flexible developer amount regulation member having a contact portion configured to contact with a developer bearing member, and first and second holding portions configured to hold the developer amount regulation member and to contact with the developer amount regulation member at further upstream and further downstream in a direction where the developer bearing member is rotationally moved than the contact portion. With a pressure distribution of the contact portion as to the developer bearing member, there are a plurality of local maximum values in the direction where the developer bearing member is rotationally moved. Thus, the apparatus can be reduced in size, and also image concentration unevenness after long-term use can be prevented.

摘要： An in-plane switching mode active matrix type liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate located opposing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a thin film transistor, a pixel electrode each associated to a pixel to be driven, a common electrode to which a reference voltage is applied, data lines, a scanning line, and common electrode lines. Molecular axes of liquid crystal are rotated in a plane parallel with the first substrate by an electric field substantially parallel with a plane of the first substrate to thereby display certain images. The common electrode is composed of transparent material, and are formed on a layer located closer to the liquid crystal layer than the data lines. The common electrode entirely overlaps the data lines except an area where the data lines are located in the vicinity of the scanning line. The liquid crystal display device further includes a light-impermeable layer in an area where the common electrode entirely overlaps the data lines. The light-impermeable layer is comprised of a black matrix layer having a width smaller than a width of the common electrode.
