摘要: A polarizing film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, said polarizing film comprising a polarizer film and a first transparent protective film, wherein a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on the first transparent protective film side of the polarizing film. The polarizer film has a film thickness of 20 μm or less; the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is used for the bonding of a front transparent member that is arranged at the viewing side of an image display device, while having a difference between the saturation moisture percentage (A) at 80° C. at 85% R.H. and the saturation moisture percentage (B) at 25° C. at 50% R.H., namely ((A)−(B)) of 1.0% by weight or more. This polarizing film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is able to suppress decrease in the single transmittance of the polarizing film in a high temperature environment.

In the PSA layer, the high-refractive-index particles are concentrated in a range that extends from the first face towards the second face side and has a thickness of at least 100 nm, accounting for less than 50% of the PSA layer thickness.
