Abstract:
Curtains are provided which have fastener/s and, in some cases, strut/s arranged along a screen. The strut/s extend to elevation/s below and/or above the fastener/s. An upper strut may have a lower degree of stiffness than a lower strut. In some cases, the fastener/s are arranged at least 20 inches from the screen's upper edge. Systems are described which include a disinfection apparatus and any of such curtains. Other systems include any of such curtains attached to an edge of a room divider. Easily assembled and disassembled room dividers are described which include cord/s and/or pole/s, installed or portable device/s for supporting the cords/poles, and fasteners for attaching a curtain to the cords/poles. A disinfection apparatus is described which includes a shield extending to an elevation at least two feet above a germicidal light source and borders at least one third of a continuous region surrounding the germicidal light source.
Abstract:
Disclosed is curtain glider (3) for detachably fastening and for moving a curtain or net curtain in a curtain rail, the curtain glider having a head portion (1) which can be guided on a track of the curtain rail, wherein the head portion has two upwardly tapered wing portions (4A, 4B) which are elastically compressible in such a way, that the head portion (1) can be inserted from below into the longitudinal slot of a curtain rail, wherein the wing portions (4A, 4B) extend from the head portion (1) on both sides of the longitudinal axis (6) of the curtain glider (3), wherein the wing portions (4A, 4B) are connected exclusively laterally and each to a side web (2) of the head portion (1). Further disclosed is a curtain glider (3) for detachably fastening and for moving a curtain or net curtain in a curtain rail, the curtain glider having a head portion (1) which can be guided on a track of the curtain rail, a shaft-like central portion (15) which can be withdrawn from a longitudinal slot of the track of the curtain rail, and a lower hook portion (16) for holding the curtain or net curtain, wherein the hook portion (16) is in the shape of an eyelet or loop, which extends—with respect to its opening (17)—in the running direction L of the curtain glider (3), characterized in that the hook portion (16) has a female unit (21) and a male unit (22), wherein the female unit (21) of a first curtain glider is formed so that it is able to hold a male unit (22) of a second curtain glider in a way plugged into each other axially in the direction L of the curtain glider.
Abstract:
A retractable cellular shade is illustrated in various embodiments to consist of a support structure that could assume numerous forms including cellular material, flexible sheets of material, tapes or ribbons, or flexible monofilaments or similar cords of natural or synthetic fibers with the support structure supporting a plurality of vanes or slats in various configurations and orientations. The movement of the vanes or slats is totally dependent upon movement of the support structure. The fabric so formed can be incorporated into a covering for architectural openings with the covering including a headrail with means for gathering the fabric material within the headrail.
Abstract:
A drapery system for forming a window drapery of user-selected length. The system includes first and second drapery sections and at least one fastener for selectively and overlappingly attaching the drapery sections without stitching or sewing. A method of forming a drapery of user-selectable length is also provided.
Abstract:
A retractable covering for architectural openings having collapsible vanes includes a head rail and support structure in the form of a sheet of material, monofilaments, tapes, ribbons, cords, or the like, supporting an upper edge of a plurality of vertically spaced, horizontally extending vanes with the lower edges of the vanes being connected to operating elements adapted to raise the lower edges of each vane toward the upper edges to define openings or gaps between the vanes through which vision and light can pass in an open condition of the covering. The support structure, vanes and operating elements are adapted to be wrapped around a roller in the head rail in a retracted position of the covering and unwrapped in an extended position. An inhibitor system is incorporated into the covering to permit automatic opening of the vanes when the support structure, vanes and operating elements reach an extended position.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a multichannel profiled element for curtains, comprising a plurality of downwardly open guiding channels for each receiving at least one carriage. It consists of a plurality of profiled elements which each form one of the guiding channels, can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the channels, and are interconnected in a fixed manner perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. The multichannel profiled element for curtains is suitable for a curtain device and can comprise a curved section with a comparatively small bending radius.

Abstract:
In an aspect of the invention there is a modular system for covering an object with a shade, the object having a dimension. The system comprising, a predetermined number of sized track members cut from at least one longer elongated track member, each sized track member defining a longitudinal channel therein; wherein the predetermined number is selected based on the dimension of the object, a plurality of brackets for supporting the sized track members in a substantially parallel and eccentric relationship, the plurality of brackets comprising at least one first bracket having the predetermined number of apertures to secure the predetermined number of sized track members, and a slider connected to each of the sized track members, the slider comprising a first end movably engaging the longitudinal channel of the sized track member and a second end adapted to be secured to an upper edge of the shade.

Abstract:
Cover, for doors, designed to cover doors and to serve as a decorative and/or protective element without preventing closure or opening of a door. The cover consists of a sheet closed by coupling means and has an overlap, which, in turn, has, at its ends, connecting devices that collaborate with corresponding connecting devices located on the actual sheet, such that said overlap is non-removably joined by one of said ends to the sheet and removably joined thereto by the other end.
