摘要： A collapsible, disposable beverage container 10 holds an insulating sleeve 12 that carries a collapsible bag 14 for holding hot fluid. The container 10 is made of paperboard. Preferred materials for the collapsible bag are nylon and metalized flexible materials. The entire structure 10 is formed from a single sheet of paperboard that is suitably scored, cut, bent and folded to a hex-shaped structure. The structure 10 includes seven panels 20-26 that form a six sided hexagonal structure. The two longest panels 23-24 overlap. The container has a top 30 that is integral with one of the longest panels and has a central opening. The bottom flaps are either interlocked with each other, glued to each other, or held together by tongue tags that extend from the end panels into receiving slots in one or both end flaps.

摘要： Two embodiments of corrugated paper shipping boxes that can be knocked down into a flat form and in which a cradle support is also formed by corrugated paper for holding the shipped article away from the sides of the box. In one embodiment, the cradle is formed by extensions of the end flaps of the end walls of the box and in another embodiment, the cradle is formed as a separate assemblage also from corrugated paper and adapted to be folded into a flat configuration. This facilitates storage and disposal and eliminates the use of foamed plastic insert pieces.

摘要： A composite package including a plastic bottle mounted in an outer paperboard box. The bottle has a pouring spout adjacent its front wall and an elongated handle extending from the pouring spout to its rear wall. The box includes a top end flap assembly having minor side flaps and front and rear flaps which fold over onto the side flaps. The minor flaps include front cutout sections which provide clearance around the spout and rearward portions having full bearing support areas extending from the cutout section to the rear wall, the bearing support areas resting directly on top of the handle of the bottle to provide load bearing support for the flaps during the gluing process. The side minor flaps also include elongated slots extending generally parallel to and alongside the handle and the rear flap has laterally spaced elongated slots which overlie the slots in the side flaps to provide cooperating hand openings on both sides of the bottle handle so that the handle may be grasped and liquid may be poured from the bottle through the spout.

摘要： Packaging comprising a rectangular parallelepipedal molded plastic inner can having a capacity of about one to five liters and having elongated stiffening grooves molded therein. The can has relatively large opposite side walls and relatively narrow opposite end walls and top and bottom walls and having a neck surrounding a discharge opening. The neck is disposed in an upper corner of the can on a length of wall of the can that is disposed at an acute angle to a vertical axis of the can. The opening has an axis disposed at an angle of about 15.degree. to 30.degree. to the vertical axis of the can. A stopper is provided for opening and closing the opening. The can has over most of its extent a thin wall that is about 3/10ths of a millimeter thick but has a thicker wall adjacent the neck. A cardboard outer envelope closely surrounds and contacts and supports the can. The envelope is of a single piece having fold lines that define rigid panels. The envelope has a portion through which the stopper is visible but through which the stopper cannot be removed without destruction of a portion of the packaging.
