摘要: A follow roller nips a sheet with a discharge roller. The follow roller is harder than the discharge roller. A paddle is rotatable together with the follow roller. The paddle includes protrusions and recesses arranged alternately in a circumferential direction of an axis of the follow roller. Each of the protrusions protrudes farther radially outward than an outer circumference of the follow roller to contact the sheet. Each of the recesses is recessed radially inward between two of the protrusions adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction. A groove is located between the follow roller and the paddle in a width direction parallel to a direction in which the axis extends. The groove is located at a same position as an end of the discharge roller in the width direction. The groove is recessed one round farther radially inward than the outer circumference of the follow roller.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit to form an image on a sheet, a sheet ejection section to which a relay unit and a sheet processing apparatus are removably coupled, a driving-side ejection roller disposed in the sheet ejection section, to eject the sheet outside the apparatus, a plurality of driven-side ejection rollers that are replaceable, one of which is disposed facing the driving-side ejection roller, and a roller holder removably secured to the sheet ejection section to hold the one of the plurality of driven-side ejection rollers. Each driven-side ejection roller has a shaft and a plurality of roller bodies attached to the shaft and lined in an axial direction of the shaft. The driven-side ejection roller is replaced with another driven-side ejection roller in accordance with whether or not the relay unit and the sheet processing apparatus are coupled to the sheet ejection section.

摘要: A sheet conveying device includes a driving roller, a driven roller and a pair of bearing members. The pair of bearing members is configured to rotatably support both ends of a rotating shaft of the driven roller. The bearing member has a supporting part and a pressing part. The supporting part is formed by winding an end portion on one side of a wire rod in a spiral shape. The supporting part has a shaft hole through which one end of the rotating shaft can be inserted. The pressing part is formed by winding an end portion on the other side of the wire rod in a spiral shape in an orthogonal direction to the rotating shaft. The pressing part is disposed so as to press the supporting part in a direction in which the driven roller comes into pressure contact with the outer face of the driving roller.
