    摘要: A sheet conveying apparatus includes: a supporter having a support surface; a supplier including a supply roller rotatable about a rotation axis; a separator for separating sheets; a stopper pivotable about a first axis and movable between a first position at which a distal end portion of the stopper intersects a conveyance path and a second position at which the distal end portion is separated from the support surface; and a stopper cam pivotable about a second axis and movable between a third position at which the stopper cam contacts the distal end portion at the first position and a fourth position at which the stopper cam is spaced apart from the distal end portion at the first position. The second axis is located upstream of the rotation axis of the supply roller and farther from the support surface than the rotation axis.

    摘要: A printer includes a sheet stopper that rotates between a regulating position where a sheet placed in the feeding tray is regulated and a passing position where the sheet placed in a feeding tray is passed through, and an inversion path introduction unit that rotates between a forward-feeding position and a reverse-feeding position of introducing the sheet. The inversion path introduction unit is disposed at the forward-feeding position when a sheet is conveyed in a sheet feeding direction. The inversion path introduction unit is disposed at the reverse-feeding position when a sheet is conveyed in a direction opposite to the sheet feeding direction and the inversion path introduction unit introduces the sheet into an inversion path. The sheet stopper changes the regulating position and the passing position in conjunction with rotation of the inversion path introduction unit.

    摘要: A manual paper-sheet feed portion of an image forming apparatus includes a manual tray, a feed opening, a feed roller, and a shutter. The manual tray is shifted to an opened state, whereby placement of a recording medium becomes possible. The feed opening accepts feeding of the recording medium to a conveyance path. The feed roller feeds the recording medium to the conveyance path. When the feeding of the recording medium to the conveyance path is started, the shutter swings in one direction to open the feed opening, and when a rear end of the recording medium passes through the feed opening, the shutter swings in the other direction to return to a position where to shield the feed opening.
