The article includes a profile including a planar wall, and an adjacent integral molded depression having a contoured wall extending downwardly from the planar wall. The contoured wall includes a bead portion, a cove portion, and a ledge between the bead and cove portions. The articles are stackable, one above another for transport, in a nestable relationship in which multiple contact zones are present between the contoured walls of an adjacently stacked pair of the molded articles. The contact zones include an arcuately extending contact interface zone between the bead exterior and interior surfaces. The depression has a substantially uniform thickness varying by no more than about +1 percent to about −11 percent in relation to a thickness of the planar wall. Related methods and assemblies are also provided.

    摘要: A door assembly having a structural inner frame that is secured between an interior sheath and an exterior sheath. The inner frame provides rigidity and strength to the door assembly and will not warp or otherwise lose its dimensional integrity regardless of the environment or usage. Both the interior and exterior sheaths add strength and durability once attached to and combined with the inner frame. The internal frame is formed from metal, wood, plastic, composite panels, polystyrene panels or other structural materials. In the preferred embodiment, the inner frame by itself is not structural, it relies on the interior sheath and exterior sheath for its combined strength. The components of the internal frame are secured together by fastening onto the interior sheath and exterior sheath. This allows the components, while structurally supporting one another, to utilize the interior and exterior sheaths to fasten the components to one another.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a door that has a sufficient strength against bending and is not damaged by moisture. Front and rear plates 10 and 20 of the door of the present invention are made of a glass fiber material. A pair of transverse frames 30a and 30b made of synthetic resin and the a pair of longitudinal frames 40a and 40b made of lumber comprising bonded sheets of veneer are fixed to edge portions of the front and rear plates therebetween. Upper and lower frames of the longitudinal frames are fixedly bonded to bottom and top surfaces of the respective transverse frames so that they cannot be exposed to the outside. Further, a pair of covers 50 made of synthetic resin are attached to outer side surfaces of the longitudinal frames so that the longitudinal frames cannot be exposed to the outside. An inner space defined by the frames between the front and rear plates is filled with a foaming liquid to form a foam layer.
