Abstract: A container such as a CD or DVD box with a body portion having two sections (1, 2) connected to each other by a hinge portion (3) and an information display member or label (4) which includes an information layer formed as part of the member (4) is secured by an adhesive or welded bond to one section (1) of the body portion. Abstract: With the proliferation of PC's and their use as the essential medium for writing and keeping data, the traditional saving of alphanumeric data in a hard copy format should be supplemented by the easily manageable filing within a GUARDISK, that is, an inexpensive, easily manipulated, easily filed plastic envelope with a closure which gives is a better than none protection against atmospheric and pollutant or damaging elements, and secures and allows easy retrieval and re-insertion of the detachable storage copy of the electronic material (diskette, CD, DVD, and others) the filing next to the print-out in hard copy being an essential feature. It is most advantageous and time saving to file the electronic alphanumeric data together with the hard copy so as to have easy access to it whenever it is to be transferred back to a PC for storage or reworking.

Abstract: A security package for enclosing DVD's and other articles for deterring the tampering with the shrink wrapped protecting the product or removing the product from the security package. The security package is made from inexpensive material and can be placed on the product at the factory. The security package is thin such that it fits in the display racks for the product and is made of a clear material such that a customer can see the packaging information on the package. The security package can be removed at the store with a special key, or when purchased the consumer may take the security package home with the product therein and remove the security package at home. The security package may be removed and reused at the store or sold with the product inside. Since the security package is inexpensive it may be disposed of rather than reused.

Abstract: A CD disk holding device that freely suspends a disk. The holder is made up of a singular homogeneous flat plastic or plastic like flexible material of a thin and uniform cross section that is formed into a trihedrally shaped structure. A flat base provides an area for attachment to a desired surface. Projecting from opposite ends in an inwardly biased folded plane of the base are two flexible symmetrical arms. Further projecting away from base at the end of the arms are related symmetrical tapered nose sections. The nose sections are arched further inward in a slightly open clamshell arrangement. Each nose section has a leading edge, which when viewed from the front form the diagonal edge of a near parabolic cone structure. This cone structures greatest diameter is normally slightly greater than the central mounting hole of a compact disk. When a CD is installed, the central hole of the CD rides the leading edge of the nose sections until seated. Further pressure causes a cam action deformation of the nose sections inwardly; reducing the diameter of the cone structure until it is less than the diameter of the central hole of the CD. The CD is then free to travel down the holder until it strikes the disk stop face where it is releasably held in the disk rest area.
