    摘要: A method for heating a blast furnace stove includes combusting a fuel with a lower heating value (LHV) of 9 MJ/Nm3 or less in a combustion zone which is arranged in a combustion chamber in the stove, and causing the combustion gases to flow through and thereby heat refractory material in the stove. The fuel is combusted with an oxidant including at least 85% oxygen, and combustion gases are recirculated into the combustion zone for diluting the mixture of fuel and oxidant therein sufficiently for the combustion to be flameless.

    摘要: An arc metallurgic furnace slagging door having an upper panel and a lower panel substantially vertically aligned with the upper panel, the panels being placed in front of a tunnel giving access to a furnace melting pot and in front of the slagging door for closing the tunnel. The upper panel is outwardly inclined with respect to the tunnel, and movable between a closed position and an open position which permits remarks and interventions to be conducted on molten metal. The lower panel is movable independently with respect to the upper panel between closing, cleaning and slagging positions.

    摘要: There is provided a bustle pipe arrangement of a shaft furnace, in particular for feeding hot gas into the shaft furnace such as e.g. a blast furnace, wherein the bustle pipe arrangement comprises a circumferential bustle pipe arranged along the outer casing of the shaft furnace, at a certain distance therefrom. The arrangement further comprises a plurality of first support arms connecting the bustle pipe to the outer casing of the shaft furnace on a first level; and a plurality of second support arms connecting the bustle pipe to the outer casing of the shaft furnace on a second level, the first level being separate from the second level. The first and second support arms are configured to support the circumferential bustle pipe. First blow channels are arranged through the first support arms for fluidly connecting the bustle pipe to the interior of the shaft furnace.

    摘要: A hydraulic cylinder 41 of a second driver 40 brings both a scraper 20 and a first driver 30 into integrally movable relation so that the scraper 20 is caused to intrude into an uptake 10 of a furnace via an opening 14 defined on a vertical wall of the uptake 10, and an accretion removing pawl 21 is positioned on a horizontal wall surface 12 of the uptake 10. Subsequently, a hydraulic cylinder 31 of the first driver 30 moves the scraper 20 on the horizontal wall surface 12 to scrape off any accretion having occurred thereon. The accretion thus scraped is blown off the horizontal wall surface 12 by pressurized air supplied from a pressurized air-supplying source connected to a flange 27.
