摘要： False twisting device for producing crimped filamentary yarns by introducing the filament into a cylindrical hollow of a hollow spindle, winding it around a twisting pin mounted transversely in the cylindrical hollow and taking out the filament therefrom, wherein a center point of the minimum diameter portion of the twisting pin is displaced from a rotational center axis of the hollow spindle, both in the vertical and parallel directions as related to the axial line of the twisting pin respectively, so that the filament rotated together with the hollow spindle therein is positioned concentrically with the rotating center of the hollow spindle.Said hollow spindle is mounted in a housing and supported by air bearings and it is rotated by applying compressed air to turbine blades which is provided on the circumference of the cylindrical hollow.

摘要： Apparatus for driving a spinner for the false twisting of yarn. The apparatus includes a spindle driving device delivering rotation of a driving roller to a spinnner while it is attracted to the outer periphery of the driving roller with magnet force of a rare earth, samarium cobalt magnet, said magnet being located at a place spaced from the outer periphery of the driving roller. A pair of magnet pole plates, one above the other, fixed to the upper and lower poles of said magnet respectively and extending to embrace the drive roller with gaps above and below the drive roller. Each magnet pole plate has a projection protruding in a direction from the center of the driving roller to the spinner, with said projection, the spinner is pressed against the driving roller.

摘要： In a false twist unit, a fixed bracket on which a supporting plate carrying the tube is pivotally mounted. The plate also carries drive whorls which are adapted to engage a tangential continuously moving belt. Spring means urging the plate about its pivot is also provided. The bracket is provided with a pair of spaced bearings and the plate is selectively mounted in one or the other of the bearings whereby in one of the bearing means the plate is fulcrumed to cause one of the whorls to engage one side of the belt and in the other of the bearing means the plate is fulcrumed to cause the other of the whorls to engage the other side of the belt thereby reversing direction of rotation of the tube.

摘要： In each twisting unit of a multiple twisting apparatus, a twofor-one twisting assembly imparts a first twist to each component yarn while a ring twisting assembly imparts a second twist to a doubled first-twisted yarns. A plurality of first twisted yarns are doubled under tension control and the doubled yarn is taken up by a feed mechanism so as to be supplied to the ring twisting assembly under tension control via a yarn passage formed behind the two-for-one twisting assemblies. The two-for-one twisting assemblies are arranged in two alignments along a lengthwise direction of the apparatus. All driving members are driven synchronously at a starting period and at a time of stopping the twisting operation.

摘要： Composite false-twist yarns, method and apparatus, wherein continuous strand elements from their respective supply sources, for example, rovings, (at least three) and preferably four or more ends thereof while directly fed from their supply sources are air-jet spun and twisted simultaneously, whereby stable composite twisted yarns, with or without pairing and cabling, may be produced as end products, suitable, for example, for carpet and upholstery fabrics, the final yarn products being characterized by stabilized false twist zones, such stabilization being provided by interspersed or intermediate zones of opposite twist and, preferably, in addition, with intermingling (or interlacing) parts of (or whole) yarn elements including regular or irregular repeated interlacing of interchanged yarn elements to provide successively different pairing of said elements between (at least three) yarn elements, and preferably between pairs thereof; the apparatus for such operations including relatively high speed and high pressure air-jet means tangentially and successively applied to the individual yarn elements constantly and uniformly separately fed through converging air passages from their respective supply sources, with the converging passages terminating, for example, at a hollow truncated discharge cone, whereby the twisted yarn elements are assembled and combined to provide the final yarn products.
