摘要： A system for fastening a rail to a tensioning clamp for a system, which rail has a rail foot, a web positioned thereon and a rail head, with a carrying plate and a tensioning clamp held on the carrying plate, which has a central portion for bracing the tensioning clamp on the carrying plate, at least one torsion portion branching off from the central portion in the lateral direction and a holding arm which is connected to the torsion portion via a curved transition portion, extends, starting from the transition portion, counter to the torsion portion and exerts via the free end of its end portion a resilient holding-down force on the rail foot of the rail to be fastened, the length of the torsion portion and the course of the transition portion being adapted to each other in such a way that at least the transition portion is guided without supports laterally past a region of the carrying plate that is associated with the central portion of the tensioning clamp. A tensioning clamp which is particularly suitable for this purpose is disclosed, wherein the end portion of the holding arm is angled away from the torsion portion in such a way that it points, in the direction of the web of the rail to be fastened.

摘要： The invention provides a rail clip for a retaining device comprising a shoulder member for bearing on a lateral side of a rail flange, and providing a downwardly facing abutment surface. The clip is driven into the hole on the plate and reacts against the top of the base of the rail while the heel (“U” section) of the clip reacts against the plate. The attributes of the clip are as follows. The clip can be installed with the toe on the rail from right to left or from left to right making the clip completely reversible. The clip can also be installed with the heel on the rail. The clip has higher toe load than clips of comparable weight. The clip has a low profile for tight spots where overhead clearance is limited such as at rail joint where joint/splice bars are used.

摘要： A rubber mixture is particularly based on natural rubber (NR), epoxidized natural rubber (E-NR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), acrylate rubber (ACM), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), or blends of these types of rubber, particularly NR/SBR- blends or NR-BR- blends, as well as the usual mixing ingredients such as fillers, plasticizers, anti-aging media, as well as additional additives, if needed. This mixture produces a plate-like, elastic intermediate layer with low dynamic stiffening; high dynamic stressability; high specific volume resistivity; and low frequency-dependence of the dynamic stiffening. The intermediate layer is arranged particularly between the base of the rail and the top side of the tie in connection with high-speed rail tracks. The underside of the intermediate layer is provided with at least one recess, with formation of an edge extending all around, and facing the top side of the tie. The top side of the intermediate layer which is the surface supporting the base of the rail, is substantially planar shaped.

The tube accepts a lubricant supply from an external source at one end and directs it to the appropriate area of the wheel/rail contact patch. Implementation may include a plurality of such tubes on one or both rails to improve effectiveness. The present invention reduces overall waste by applying smaller amounts of lubricant with each tube, but increasing the total amount of lubricant applied.

摘要： In a railroad track comprising a railroad rail having a lower flange and a railroad tie made from concrete, a polyurethane pad is mounted between the lower flange of the rail road rail and an upper surface of the railroad tie. A bonding layer at least as flexible as the polyurethane pad is bonded to a lower surface of the polyurethane pad. An adhesive layer is bonded to the upper surface of the railroad tie. The bonding and adhesive layers are bonded to each other, whereby the polyurethane pad and the railroad tie are bonded to each other via the bonding and adhesive layers. Preferably, the adhesive layer comprises a methacrylate ester composition, and the bonding layer comprises either a product of polymerizing a solution of methyl methacrylate copolymer in n-butyl acrylate monomer with an addition of cumene hydroperoxide to the solution or a product of curing or drying a water-based acrylic emulsion. Alternatively, the bonding layer is a product of polymerizing a solution of a thermoplastic elastomer in methyl methacrylate monomer. The solution may have an addition of 1% (by volume) of cumene hydroperoxide to catalyze polymerization. The solution may have a sprayed coat of a dispersion of benzoyl peroxide in a plasticizer or in water to catalyze polymerization.

摘要： In a railroad track, a composite pad is useful between a lower flange of a railroad rail and an upper surface of a railroad tie, particularly but not exclusively a concrete tie. The composite pad comprises a bonding member, preferably a plate made from galvanized, powder-coated steel and a polyurethane pad. Such a plate, if used, may be powder-coated with a composition comprising a polyester, acrylic, or epoxy resin. The pad is cast onto the member so that the member is bonded directly to the pad. An adhesive layer comprising a methacrylate ester composition bonds the member to the upper surface of the tie, at the lower surface of the member, so as to resist relative movement between the member and the tie and so as to retard infiltration of sand, water, or debris therebetween.

摘要： An elastic rail bearing for railroad rails includes a top plate, a bottom plate, and a rubber plate disposed inbetween the top and bottom plates, the plates each having a plurality of holes formed therethrough with the holes of one plate being in registered alignment with the holes of the other plates. One or more bolts are provided, each of which is surrounded by a rubber ring with each of the bolts passing through one of the aligned set of holes in the top, bottom and rubber plates and engaging a nut such that an adjustable and variable initial stress may be established in the rail. At least one of the rubber plates, and the top and bottom plates, have a protrusion and the other has a corresponding recess for receiving the protrusion. The top and bottom plates each have a vertical flange which are spaced apart from, extend parallel to, and partially overlap each other. A connecting rubber strip is disposed inbetween the flanges.
