    摘要: A heat exchanger apparatus for receiving water from a steam drum (1) and providing steam and heated unevaporated liquid water to the steam drum includes a first evaporator (EVAP-1) and a second evaporator (EVAP-2). The first evaporator can receive water from a steam drum via a first feed conduit (9) and the second evaporator can receive water from a second feed conduit (11). Both evaporators can output heated fluid to the steam drum via a combined evaporator output conduit (13). Each first evaporator passageway (14) only makes a single pass through a gas duct (15) having a heated gas flow (7) passing therethrough while each second evaporator passageways (24) can make one or more passes through the gas duct for transferring heat from the gas to the fluid within the evaporators. A portion of the first feed conduit can also have a pre-specified volume a pre-specified height below the first inlet (10).

The flat horizontally arranged rectangular water tubes are narrow in their width, making it possible to arrange them densely in the limited space of the combustion chamber, and with their increased heat receiving areas, the water tubes can heat the water in the boiler fast.

    摘要: An installation jig and method for installing the spout casting that eliminates the need for using a thick layer of refractory as previously done. The installation jig is formed from a threaded rod with a rectangular plate transversely fixed to one end of the rod and a second shorter, rectangular plate received on the rod at a distance from the fixed plate. A locking collar is received on the rod adjacent the shorter plate on the side remote from the fixed plate. The larger fixed plate is inserted into the boiler from the outside and is caused to bear against the tube surface. The smaller plate and locking collar are used to hold the casting in place until the casting is fixed in position by the installation of the spout.
