The gum diagnosis data generator is configured to generate, for example, a two-dimensional graph as the gum diagnosis data with a right-left direction or the up-down direction of the frontal view of the oral cavity as a first axis and the depth direction of the frontal view of the oral cavity as a second axis.

摘要: A system and method involving performing image classification on the image according to a position of a subject in the image; selecting, from a plurality of subject position templates, a subject position template for the image according to a result of the image classification, wherein each of the plurality of subject position templates is associated with a pre-defined position parameter, and each of the plurality of subject position templates is configured with a weight distribution field according to the pre-defined position parameter, the weight distribution field representing a probability that each pixel in the image belongs to a foreground or a background; and performing image segmentation according to the weight distribution field in the selected subject position template to segment the subject from the image.

摘要: A method of extracting surfaces in three-dimensional data includes receiving as inputs three-dimensional data and a seed point p located on a surface to be extracted. The method further includes propagating a front outwardly from the seed point p and extracting a plurality of ridge curves based on the propagated front. A surface boundary is detected based on a comparison of distances between adjacent ridge curves and the desired surface is extracted based on the detected surface boundary.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for graphing networks. In one embodiment, a dampening heuristic is utilized to graph networks to increase their stability. Nodes are visualized by finding local and global minima and equilibrium positions. Factors such as the influence of neighboring nodes; attraction and repulsion phases; and dynamism of complex networks are addressed by embodiments of the present invention. The stability of nodes are measured quantitatively using vectors, degree of influence of neighboring nodes on other nodes, and updating dampening heuristics.

摘要: A system for detection and classification of findings in an image, comprising at least one hardware processor configured to: receive the image; process the image by a plurality of convolutional and pooling layers of a neural network to produce a plurality of feature maps; process one of the feature maps by some of the layers and another plurality of layers to produce a plurality of region proposals; produce a plurality of region of interest (ROI) pools by using a plurality of pooling layers to downsample the plurality of region proposals with each one of the plurality of feature maps; process the plurality of ROI pools by at least one concatenation layer to produce a combined ROI pool; process the combined ROI pool by a classification network comprising some other of the convolutional and pooling layers to produce one or more classifications; and output the one or more classifications.

摘要: A method for tracking a target object in frames of video data using Absorbing Markov Chain (AMC), including steps of: (a) acquiring a bounding box containing the target object in a current frame and a segmentation result for the target object in a previous frame; (b) obtaining obtain a region of interest (ROI) in the current frame by enlarging the bounding box to contain a portion of background information surrounding the target object; (c) acquiring information on local regions within the ROI in the current frame; (d) constructing an AMC graph using at least part of the local regions within the region of interest (ROI) in the current frame and local regions within a region of interest (ROI) in the previous frame; and (e) acquiring a segmentation result for the target object within the current frame by thresholding individual nodes in the AMC graph using absorption times thereof.

摘要: This disclosure concerns a method for enhancing vision for a vision impaired user comprises. A processor, such as a controller of a retinal prosthesis, determines based on input image data a shape associated with an object represented by the input image data. The processor then determines for each of multiple areas of the input image data a coverage value that indicates to what extent the shape covers that area of the input image. Each of the multiple areas is associated with one of multiple imaging elements of the retinal prosthesis. The processor then determines an output value for each of the multiple imaging elements of the retinal prosthesis, such that when the output values are applied to the imaging elements to create a visual stimulus, a contrast is perceivable between a first element and a second element based on their respective coverage values.
