摘要: In a method of manufacturing a cathode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a preliminary lithium metal oxide particle is prepared. The preliminary lithium metal oxide particle is cleaned using a boron compound cleaning solution. A cathode active material for a lithium secondary particle includes a lithium metal oxide particle where a ratio of a B+ peak intensity relative to a sum of peak intensities of Li+, B+ and LiB+ fragments by a TOF-SIMS analysis is in a range from 0.03% to 1.5%.

摘要: Disclosed is a positive electrode material for a lithium secondary battery capable of improving the problems of resistance and lifetime deterioration of the battery by forming a thin and uniform metal oxide on the surface of the lithium nickel cobalt manganese-based positive electrode active material, and a method for preparing the same and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same. The method of preparing the positive electrode material for the lithium secondary battery comprises a method of coating a metal oxide on the surface of a lithium nickel cobalt manganese-based positive electrode active material through a chemical vapor deposition. The method includes placing the lithium nickel cobalt manganese-based positive electrode active material in a deposition apparatus and supplying a metal oxide precursor and a carrier gas, and the lithium nickel cobalt manganese-based positive electrode active material is stirred during deposition.

摘要: An electrode including a current collector; and an electrode active material layer disposed on at least one surface of the current collector is disclosed. The electrode active material layer includes a lower layer region facing the current collector, and an upper layer region facing the lower layer region and extended to the surface of the electrode active material layer. The lower layer region includes a first active material and a first non-rubbery binder and is free from a rubbery binder. The upper layer region includes a second active material, a second non-rubbery binder, and a rubbery binder. The rubbery binder is a hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (H-NBR). Each of the first non-rubbery binder and the second non-rubbery binder includes a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)-based polymer, and the weight ratio of the second non-rubbery binder to the rubbery binder in the upper layer region is 1:0.03-1:0.07.

An intensity ratio C/S determined from a spectrum obtained by analyzing the electrode mixture by Auger electron spectroscopy satisfies 0.2≤C/S≤1, where C is an intensity of a peak in the spectrum which corresponds to carbon included in the carbon-containing material, and S is an intensity of a peak in the spectrum which corresponds to sulfur included in the sulfide solid electrolyte.

摘要: An additive for a positive electrode of a lithium secondary battery, the additive including a lithium transition metal oxide, Li3PO4, Li5AlO4 and Li3BO3. The lithium transition metal oxide has an aluminum-doped form. The additive including Li3PO4, Li5AlO4 and Li3BO3 together with the lithium transition metal oxide has functionality of improving stability of a battery when used in a positive electrode of a lithium secondary battery. The Li3PO4, the Li5AlO4 and the Li3BO3 are evenly mixed with the lithium transition metal oxide or some thereof form a partial coating layer, or a portion of aluminum is doped to the lithium transition metal oxide to suppress the lithium transition metal oxide from causing a side reaction with an electrolyte liquid.

摘要: The positive electrode active material is for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, suppressing deterioration of battery characteristics due to exposure to the atmosphere and having excellent battery capacity. A positive electrode active material for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a lithium-nickel composite oxide represented by general formula (1): LiaNi1−x−yCoxMyO2+α (in which 0.05≤x≤0.35, 0≤y≤0.10, 0.95≤a≤1.10, 0≤a≤0.2, and M represents at least one element selected from Mn, V, Mg, Mo, Nb, Ti, W, and Al) and Li3BO3. At least a part of a surface of the lithium-nickel composite oxide is coated with Li3BO3. The content of boron in the positive electrode active material is 0.001% by mass or more and 0.2% by mass or less with respect to the entire positive electrode active material.
