摘要： The present bifurcated roller tool includes a pair of rollers which rotate independently of the other. The rollers are rotatably engaged on a distal frame portion which has a pair of roller engaging portions. The roller engaging portions are separated from each other via a V-shaped medial frame section. The medial frame section defines a receiver which permits the reception of a paint tray divider. The paint tray divider separates two receptacle portions of a paint tray. A frame for the bifurcated roller includes an intermediate frame portion leading from a handle to one of the roller engaging portions of the distal frame portion. The other of the roller engaging portions includes a free outer end and it is over this end that roller covers are slid off the roller mounts and other roller covers slide onto their respective roller mounts. The roller cover which engages the roller mount proximate to the intermediate frame portion slides over the medial frame portion and onto and off the other of the roller mount when it is to be replaced or cleaned. The intermediate frame portion and roller engaging portions define sections of a rod such that the frame for the bifurcated roller is integral and one-piece.

摘要： A method of orienting a misaligned spray tip in a reversible turret of a paint spray gun by tapping the turret to rotate the tip until a key and keyway of the tip and turret are aligned. In one embodiment of the method, the turret is held in the left hand and tapped with the right hand to cause counterclockwise rotation of the tip. In another embodiment, the turret is held in the right hand and the turret is tapped with the left hand to cause clockwise rotation of the tip in the turret. Once the tip is oriented in the turret, an elastomer washer and hollow retaining screw are installed in the turret behind the tip to seal and retain the tip in the turret, and the turret is installed in the paint spray gun.

An air baffle partitions the space containing the two turbines into two air plenums to prevent hot air exhausted by the larger turbine from entering the air inlet to the turbine impellers, and an indicator provides a perceptible indication that the filter is becoming blocked.

摘要： A pressure relief assembly for use with a paint pump having a chamber with a pressure relief port located immediately adjacent an inlet port of the pump. The pressure relief assembly includes a mounting member, inlet washer, rupture pad and outlet washer. The mounting member is threaded on its exterior surface and includes an inlet end, an outlet end, and a relief passage extending between the inlet and outlet ends. A rupture recess in the inlet end is sized to receive the inlet washer, rupture pad and outlet washer, with the rupture pad positioned between the washers. The inner diameter surface of the outlet washer is convex. The pressure relief assembly is screwed into the pump with the inlet end adjacent to the pressure relief port. The rupture pad forms a seal between the pump chamber and atmosphere that ruptures to vent the chamber when the pressure within the chamber exceeds a predetermined rupture pressure.
