    Abstract: A gear transmission unit, particularly for a motor-vehicle, is provided with a forced lubrication system for lubricating rolling bearings and/or further inner components of the transmission unit. The unit is provided with one or more accessory elements in the form of lubricant distribution boxes. Each distribution box has a hollow body rigidly connected to the casing of the unit adjacent to a respective channel outlet which supplies a flow of lubricant under pressure. The hollow body defines an inner lubricant distribution chamber and has an inlet connected to the channel outlet and two or more outlets connected to further conduits for channels or chambers, for supplying the flow of lubricant under pressure in parallel to various components to be lubricated inside the transmission casing.

    Abstract: Hybrid or fully electric vehicle comprising: a conventional braking system based on friction bodies to brake the motor vehicle by interaction of the friction bodies in response to the operation of a brake pedal or any other equivalent control member, a reversible electric machine operatively coupled to the wheels of the vehicle and electronically controllable to operate selectively as an electric engine to generate a mechanical power to propel to the vehicle and as an electric generator to convert the kinetic energy of the motor vehicle into electrical energy, and an automotive electronic control system comprising a sensory system to measure automotive quantities, and an electronic control unit to control operation of the conventional braking system and of the electric machine in response to the operation of the brake pedal or any other operationally equivalent control member. The electronic control unit is further configured to control operation of: the electric machine to selectively perform one or more functions including regenerative braking, in which the electric machine is operated as an electric generator to recover the kinetic energy of the motor vehicle during braking and convert it into electrical energy, and the conventional braking system to clean the friction bodies of the conventional braking system based on the number of brakings performed by the conventional braking system and counted starting from the start-up of the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: A brake disc for motor-vehicle disc brakes, includes a body with a hub and two opposite annular planar faces, wherein at least one of these faces is formed with one or more lines defining a surface irregularity, in the form of grooves or ribs, which extend between a radially inner edge and a radially outer edge of the respective face, so as to substantially cover the entire radial extension of the face. A height of the surface irregularity along said lines is less than 0.30 mm, so that during use, the lines defining the surface irregularity disappear, due to wear of the respective face, after an initial fraction of the life of the brake disc. During this initial stage, the lines defining the surface irregularity reduce the time necessary to obtain a bedding of the disc brake with respect to a case of a brake disc devoid of the lines.

    Abstract: Described is a device for synchronization of a reverse gear for a vehicle gearbox including: a support shaft fixed in rotation; an idle gear wheel for engagement with a first reverse gear wheel on a gearbox primary shaft and a second reverse gear wheel on a gearbox secondary shaft, said idle gear wheel mounted rotatable and axially slidable on said support shaft and having a hub including a first friction surface; and a synchronizer ring mounted mobile on said support shaft along an axial travel and countered axially by an elastic element along said axial travel, said synchronizer ring having a second friction surface for engagement with said first friction surface. Axial movement of the idle gear wheel towards an engagement position of the reverse gear causes drawing of the synchronizer ring implementing, prior to reverse gear engagement, braking of rotary movement of the idle gear wheel.

    Abstract: Motor vehicle comprising headlights and an air conditioning system fluidically connected to the headlights for supplying an air flow thereto, and comprising an electric fan to generate the air flow, an electric heater to heat the air flow generated by the electric fan, a sensory system to measure air temperature and moisture inside the headlights, an electric heater and an electric fan arranged inside each headlight, and an electronic control unit connected to the sensory system to receive the measured quantities, to the electric fan and the electric heater of the air conditioning system, and the electric heaters and the electric fans in the headlights to control operation thereof. The electronic control unit is further designed to carry out one or more of the following headlight defogging/defrosting operations based on air temperature and moisture inside the headlights: a) operating in a timed manner, with internal combustion engine off, the electric fans in the headlights; b) operating in a timed manner, with internal combustion engine off, the electric heater of the air conditioning system and, simultaneously, the electric fan of the air conditioning system or of the electric fans in the headlights; and c) operating in a timed manner the electric heaters in the headlights.

    Abstract: A canister for absorption of fuel vapors from a fuel tank, includes a hollow body defining an internal chamber containing absorbent material, a first opening communicating with a tank vent conduit, a second opening vented towards the atmosphere, and a third opening communicating with a conduit connected to an engine intake manifold. The canister body has outer and inner side walls parallel to and spaced apart from each other, and defining therebetween a thermally insulating interspace extending continuously for the whole circumferential extension of the outer side wall, on all sides of the canister body, whereby said thermally insulating interspace surrounds the internal chamber and promotes saving of heat generated inside the internal chamber in the absorption operating mode, during an engine inoperative stage, so as to improve canister scavenging efficiency during a subsequent stage wherein the scavenging operating mode is activated, when the engine is operative.
