    摘要: A process for preparing an alkyl sulfonate derivative comprises causing a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound represented by the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein X represents --O--, --S--, --NR.sup.1 --, --Se--, --Te-- or --CR.sup.2 R.sup.3 --, in which each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, Y represents a hydrogen atom, a mercapto group, an arylthio group, an aralkyl group, a sulfo group, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkylthio group, an alkylsulfonyloxy group or an arylsulfonyloxy group and each of R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxy group which may be substituted with a sulfo group, an aryloxy group, an alkylthio group, a haloalkyl group, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a carboxy group or a sulfo group, otherwise R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.6, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 and R.sup.7 and R.sup.8 are, in at least one of these combinations, bonded each other to form an aromatic ring or a cycloalkene ring; to react in the presence of Lewis acid with an aliphatic sultone to give an alkyl sulfonate derivative corresponding to the above formula (1).

The material provides an image of high density with less fog in a short time even using a reduced amount of a base precursor.

    摘要: A heat-developable color photographic material is disclosed. The material is comprised of a support base, a binder, a light-sensitive silver halide, a dye releasing redox compound which reduces the light-sensitive silver halide and releases a hydrophilic dye by reacting with the light-sensitive silver halide by heating; and a base precursor. The base precursor is represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein the substituents are defined within the specification. The material is capable of forming dye images with high density by heating the material after exposure in a substantially water free state. The images can be obtained in a short period of time and maintain their color density during storage. Further, the material produces a relatively low degree of fog based on the high degree of image density obtained.
