Abstract: A pocket hole jig includes a base having a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween. The base further including a drill bit aperture positioned proximate the first end and extending through a portion of the base. The drill bit aperture oriented at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis. The pocket hole jig further includes a fence pivotally coupled to the base proximate the second end of the base. Abstract: A pressing and driving mechanism, adapted for use in an electric screwdriver, includes a housing, an output member connected to the housing and movable relative to the housing with user intervention, a first adjustment member connected to the output member and moving along with the latter, and a second adjustment member fixed relative to the housing. The second adjustment member is adapted to be in mechanical contact with the first adjustment member. The first adjustment member moves relative to the second adjustment member when the output member moves relative to the housing, whereby the pressing and driving mechanism actively or passively outputs a continuously changing signal. The present invention can realize the function of automatically changing the output torque/speed with the pressing depth when the electric screwdriver is pressed by the user toward the wall or other workpiece.

Abstract: Disclosed is a blade replacement apparatus of an electric instrument, which is used to replace blades connected by a bolt, the bolt extending along a first axis, the blade replacement apparatus comprising a nut that fits the bolt to fix the blade, a nut loosening/tightening member, a locking member, and an operating member, one of the nut loosening/tightening member and the operating member having a first matching portion, the locking member having a second matching portion, wherein the operating member is movable between an operating position and a non-operating position, the operating member allowing a user to perform an operation by hand without using any instruments; when the operating member is in the non-operating position, the first matching portion engages with the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member around the first axis is obstructed by the locking member; when the operating member is in the operating position, the first matching portion is disengaged from the second matching portion, and the rotation of the nut loosening/tightening member around the first axis tightens or loosens the nut.

Abstract: A compact multi-material cut-off tool includes a housing, and an arbor rotatably supported by the housing upon which a cutting disk is attachable for co-rotation therewith. A motor is coupled to the arbor to provide torque thereto. A controller is operable to selectively drive the motor in a first rotational direction and an opposite, second rotational direction. A first lighting element is coupled to a first portion of the housing, and a second lighting element is coupled to a second portion of the housing. One of the first lighting element and the second lighting element is configured to be activated by the controller in response to the motor being driven in the first rotational direction. The other of the first lighting element and the second lighting element is configured to be activated by the controller in response to the motor being driven in the second rotational direction.

Abstract: A lithium-polymer based battery pack for power a hand held power tool or a garden tool, the battery pack has a plurality of battery cells located within housing that is selectively connectable to and supportable by a hand held power tool or a garden tool. The battery cells have a lithium-polymer based chemistry and a nominal charged internal impedance of less than or equal to approximately 5 milliohms. In one embodiment the cells are think cells are stacked within the housing such that each sell is layered over or under an adjacent cell and a resiliently deformable substrate located between adjacent battery cells. In another embodiment the cells may be interconnected to have a combined output voltage of at least 9 volts and to produce a combined average discharge current of greater than 20 amps. A lithium-polymer tool battery and a battery powered tool are also part of the invention.
