摘要: A hydrogen generator comprising a plurality of a fuel pellets (10) containing a hydrogen-generating compound such as ammonia borane, a case serving as a pressure-resistant container for containing the fuel pellets, and a controller for controlling hydrogen generation from the fuel pellets. This hydrogen generator generates hydrogen from the hydrogen-generating compound by a chemical reaction. The periphery of the fuel pellet is surrounded by a member including a thin plate of metal aluminum such as aluminum foil (18) on its surface.

摘要: A method and system for detecting a source multifeatured three-dimensional object from two-dimensional source imagery, and for locating a best-matching three-dimensional object from a candidate database of such objects by performing a viewpoint and lighting invariant search among the candidate objects. The invention further includes the method and system for determining the optimally-fitting viewpoint, lighting, and deformation of the located three-dimensional candidate and basing an identification of the candidate with the source on the quality of fit between projections of the candidate and the source imagery.

摘要: System and method are disclosed for monitoring slurry from a central location and replenishing the slurry as needed. The method/system allows a slurry supplier to track various properties of the slurry, as well as monitor various aspects of the slurry storage and delivery system. When the volume of slurry at the remote location falls below a predetermined point, the slurry supplier can schedule both the production of the appropriate slurry and its timely delivery to the customer. Changes in the condition of existing slurry, as well as leaks and other malfunctions in the slurry storage system, may be promptly detected and the slurry supplier immediately notified so that corrective actions may be taken. Multiple slurry storage systems at several remote locations may be monitored simultaneously from the central location. Such an arrangement offers a complete, one-stop solution to customers whose businesses depend on a reliable supply of “field ready” slurry.

摘要: A method and system for deploying content to devices is provided. The method and system can be used to deploy markup content to web browser applications on wireless devices. The wireless devices may included, for example, WAP phones, HDML phones, Palm VII, Palm V, etc. The method and system can also be used in conjunction with wired systems. A translator receives data, in a variety of formats, from the wireless devices. The translator then translates the data into a standardized format. A content provider interface receives the data in the standardized format and provides content data, also in the standardized format. The content data in the standardized format is provided to a transformer. The transformer transforms the content data into the pre-selected format for the particular wireless device. The content data can then be utilized and manipulated by the wireless device.

摘要: There is provided a multiple-component tampon applicator formed from at least three separate components. A fingergrip having a reduced cross-section as compared to that of the barrel may be formed such that it is a separate component or is integrally formed with a barrel component. The reduced cross-section fingergrip provides exceptional grippability to the user. The multiple components may be formed from materials including, for example, biopolymer including starches and proteins, cardboard, heat shrink plastic, paper slurry, plastic, plastic tubing, pulp slurry, pulp-molded paper, or any combinations thereof. Prior to assembly of the applicator and prior to loading the barrel component with an absorbent pledget, petals may be formed on the insertion end of the barrel using existing processes and equipment. Alternatively, a separate insertion tip component having petals may be formed. This separate component may then be connected to the barrel component either before or after an absorbent pledget is loaded into the barrel component.
