Abstract: This application discloses communications methods, apparatuses, and systems. In one implementation, a method includes: performing a function of a control-plane protocol layer, wherein the control-plane protocol layer comprises a first protocol layer of the network node corresponding to a first protocol layer of a relay node, the first protocol layer is on an interface between the network node and the relay node, and the network node is a donor base station or a centralized unit of a donor base station; and sending, from the first protocol layer of the network node, a first message to the first protocol layer of the relay node, wherein the first protocol layer of the network node and the first protocol layer of the relay node are F1 application protocol layers, and the first message is a F1AP message that comprises one or more of context management information of a terminal device served by the relay node or a radio resource control message of the terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose an access control method, a communications device, and a base station, so that a UE determines, based on a UAC parameter determined based on a CE-level, whether access of the UE is barred, so that a probability that a UE with a large resource consumption amount accesses a communications network system can be controlled. The method in the embodiments of this application includes: determining, by user equipment UE based on a first coverage enhancement level CE-level, a first unified access control UAC parameter corresponding to the first CE-level; and determining, by the UE based on the first UAC parameter, whether access of the UE is barred.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a communication method and a communications apparatus, to resolve a problem that a terminal cannot quickly resume a communication connection to a secondary node. The method includes: receiving, by a first master node, a first message from a terminal, where the first message is used to request state transition of the terminal from a third mode to a connected mode; determining, by the first master node, a secondary node that serves the terminal; obtaining, by the first master node, a first security parameter, where the first security parameter is used to derive a security key used for communication between the terminal and the secondary node that serves the terminal; obtaining, by the first master node, SCG configuration information; and sending, by the first master node, a second message to the terminal, where the second message includes the first security parameter and the SCG configuration information.

Abstract: In the embodiments of the present invention, UE can complete, by using only two interaction steps instead of six steps in the prior art, a process of sending a data packet to an eNodeB. Even a random access process in the six steps in the prior art includes four interaction steps, and by contrast, in the embodiments, signaling that needs to be consumed on an eNodeB when the UE sends data can be significantly reduced. This is relatively suitable for a scenario in which small data or occasional data is sent.

Abstract: Example configuration methods and apparatus are described with reference to an example communications system. The example communications system includes a master node and a secondary node that jointly provide a service for a terminal. One example method includes that the secondary node generates configuration information for a signaling radio bearer (SRB), where the SRB is used to transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message between the secondary node and the terminal. The secondary node sends the configuration information for the SRB to the master node, so that the configuration information for the SRB is sent to the terminal through the master node. The secondary node receives a result of configuring the SRB by the terminal by using the configuration information for the SRB. In this way, the SRB can be established on the secondary node, and used for RRC message transmission between the secondary node and the terminal.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes that a first communications apparatus sends quality of service (QoS) flow information to a second communications apparatus, where a QoS flow indicated by the QoS flow information corresponds to at least one bearer type. The first communications apparatus receives a QoS flow list sent by the second communications apparatus based on the QoS flow information, where each QoS flow list is mapped to a radio bearer. The first communications apparatus sends a radio bearer identifier of the QoS flow list to the second communications apparatus. In the embodiments of this application, a base station itself determines a radio bearer or a DRB used to transmit the QoS flow.
