    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an original scanning section, a sheet feeding section, an image forming section, a sheet receiving section and an indicator (LEDs). The image forming section is located between the original scanning section and the sheet feeding section and has a smaller cross-sectional area when cut by a horizontal plane than either of the original scanning section and the sheet feeding section such that a sheet receiving space into which each sheet of the printing medium is ejected is left between the original scanning section and the sheet feeding section. The sheet receiving section is located in the sheet receiving space for receiving the sheets of the printing medium ejected from the image forming section. The indicator notifies users that one or more sheets of the printing medium have been delivered to the sheet receiving section by emitting light.

    摘要: A cleaning unit includes a cabinet, a cleaning blade, a toner drop preventive sheet, and an auxiliary member. The cabinet has an opening facing an outer periphery of a photosensitive drum. The cleaning blade is operative to scrape down residual toner adhering to the outer periphery of the photosensitive drum. The toner drop preventive sheet is operative to prevent the residual toner scraped down by the cleaning blade from dropping between the photosensitive drum and the cabinet. The auxiliary member is disposed below the toner drop preventive sheet and is movable between a first position for receiving a bulk substance dropping from the toner drop preventive sheet and a second position for dropping the bulk substance received from the toner drop preventive sheet.

The switch circuit provides data read out from the memory circuit to the data output circuit in a normal operation, and provides a count value of an up/down counter in a DLL circuit to the data output circuit when in a test operation.     摘要: A lens-fitted photographic film unit has a flash device for emitting a flash of light. A charge switch is adapted to bring the flash device into an on-state, either by rotation of a film advancing wheel, or when a shutter device is cocked. When the flash device is in the on-state, a main capacitor is charged so as to allow emission of a flash of light. In a preferred embodiment, the charge switch is initially turned on so as to keep the flash device in the on-state. In another preferred embodiment, the flash device is in the on-state while the charge switch is on, and is in the off-state while the charge switch is off, in response to the shutter device. When the lens-fitted photographic film unit is contained in a wrapper, an insulating tape is inserted between a positive electrode of the battery and a contact segment. Upon the wrapper being torn off the lens-fitted photographic film unit, the insulating tape is pulled out of the lens-fitted photographic film unit, so as to bring the flash device into the on-state.
