    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate including a display area, a terminal area, a first side and a third side, and a second substrate opposed to the first substrate and including a fifth side and a seventh side. The terminal area is sandwiched between the third side and the seventh side. The first substrate includes a first round corner between the first side and the third side. The second substrate includes a third round corner between the fifth side and the seventh side. A radius of curvature of the third round corner is smaller than a radius of curvature of the first round corner.

    Abstract: In a transistor substrate of a display device, a plurality of signal lines to which any one of drive signals of a gate signal and a video signal is supplied include a plurality of first signal lines to which the drive signal is supplied. The first signal line is connected to a driving driver, and is formed in an edge region positioned between an end portion of a substrate and a pixel region and in the pixel region. The first signal line is formed to pass through a first wiring formed in a first layer from a second wiring formed in a second layer in the edge region.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display portion, a touch detection circuit and a scanning line drive circuit. A frame period, which includes a display period in which the scanning signal is supplied to the plurality of scanning lines for image display, and a touch detection period related to sensing using the plurality of electrodes, includes a first frame and a second frame. The number of scanning lines to which the scanning signal is supplied in each display period included in the first and second frames is adjusted such that a potential of the touch detection period included in the first frame matches a potential of the touch detection period included in the second frame.

A display device is provided with a pixel array including a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form, and drive electrodes each of which is arranged to extend in a first direction in the pixel array. A drive signal is supplied to a first area in a first drive electrode among the drive electrodes, and a ground voltage is supplied to a second area extending in the first direction with respect to the first area to generate a magnetic field in the first drive electrode according to the drive signal at a time of detecting an external proximity object.
