摘要: A text cataloging method includes a step of cataloging already-analyzed-text data obtained from an analysis of a logical structure of a text to be cataloged in a text database, a step of creating a structure index by sequentially superposing logical structures of texts to be cataloged, wherein a single metaelement is used for representing a group of elements in the texts having the same position of appearance in one of the texts and the same element type, a single piece of meta-character-string data is used for representing a group of pieces of character-string data in the texts having the same position of appearance in one of the texts, and a context identifier is assigned to each metanode composing a tree-like structure of the structure index for uniquely identifying the metanode; a step of generating structured-full-text data composed of definitions of associative relations between all pieces of character-string data included in already-analyzed-text data of each text to be cataloged, and context identifiers of pieces of meta-character-string data in the structure index used for representing the pieces of character-string data; and a character-string-index updating step, including the sub-steps of extracting partial character strings, generating structured-character-position information, and updating a character-string index.

摘要: The conventional speakerphone using the voice switch, when combined with the echo canceler, involves a problem that the threshold for switching the transmit/receive state of the voice switch cannot comply smoothly and stably with the performance variation of the echo canceler, thereby obstructing echo canceling in a manner that the voice switch cooperates with the echo canceler. The speakerphone of the invention estimates the performance variation of the adaptive filter by using the integrated value of a power of the receive signal or the transmit signal referred in the past when the adaptive filter learns, and varies the threshold in accordance with the performance variation. Thus, the speakerphone of the invention achieves a stable communication system that approaches to the fill duplex with the voice switching system and the echo canceling system combined.

摘要: An improved process for producing a multilayer wiring board that has a plurality of conductor patterns and an interlevel dielectric layer on at least one surface of a substrate, with via holes or trench-like channels being provided at specified sites of said interlevel dielectric layer to establish an electrical interconnection between said conductor patterns, wherein prior to the provision of said via holes or trench-like channels, a coating having resistance to sandblasting is formed in a pattern over the interlevel dielectric layer and then sandblasting is performed to remove the interlevel dielectric layer in selected areas to form the via holes or trench-like channels and, thereafter, the coating having resistance to sandblasting is removed, followed by the provision of a conductive layer.

摘要: A continuously variable transmission for use on vehicle, which is provided in an FR drive power transmission path to change the rotational drive power of the engine in continuous speed variation, comprises a variable displacement type hydraulic swash plate pump (P) and a hydraulic swash plate motor (M), which are connected with each other through a hydraulic closed circuit (51). The hydraulic pump (P), which is driven by the engine, delivers oil to the hydraulic motor (M), and the hydraulic motor (M), which is driven by the oil being received, transmits the rotational drive power to the rear wheels. The hydraulic pump (P), the hydraulic closed circuit (51) and the hydraulic motor (M) are arranged in this order in series in a rearward direction from the output shaft of the engine in the vehicle, and hydraulic servo mechanisms (45) and (65) that swivel the swash plates of the hydraulic pump (P) and the hydraulic motor (M) and hydraulic control valves (V) that perform various hydraulic control operations are placed under the hydraulic continuously variable transmission mechanism of the transmission.

摘要: An anti-rolling control system for an automotive vehicle is provided. This control system comprises shock absorbers each disposed between a vehicle body and a suspension member rotatably supporting a wheel and being variable of damping force within a range from soft to hard damping characteristics, a steering sensor for monitoring a steered angle of a steering wheel, and a rolling motion control unit. The rolling motion control unit is operable to derive steering angular velocity based on the steered angle of the steering wheel to determine a transient status of vehicle rolling motion when the steering angular velocity is greater than a threshold value. When the vehicle is in the transient status of rolling motion, the damping forces of the shock absorbers are modified to suppress the rolling motion.
