摘要： A switching filter is provided in a light source device. The switching filter has a first dichroic filter which transmits illumination light in a first wavelength band from a lamp and a fluorescence observation filter which transmits at least illumination light in a second wavelength band and is rotatably provided such that the first dichroic filter and the fluorescence observation filter pass through an illumination light optical axis. An LED portion has a blue LED which emits illumination light in the first wavelength band toward the switching filter. A second dichroic filter capable of transmitting illumination light from the lamp and reflecting illumination light from the LED portion to a condenser lens is also arranged at the switching filter.

摘要： A driving apparatus supplies a drive signal to an optical modulator corresponding to a phase modulation format, and also, divides a part of an output light from the optical modulator; extracts some optical component of the divided light, which is distant from a carrier frequency by integral multiple of a modulation frequency, to detect a power of the optical component; and feedback controls a duty ratio of the drive signal or a cross-point level thereof so that the detected power approaches a minimum value. Thus, it is possible to stably perform phase modulation with high precision.

摘要： A light source device includes a light source lamp, a rotary plate, a heat absorbing portion, and a filter mounting member. The light source lamp emits illumination light. The rotary plate includes multiple opening portions that are selectively disposed in the illumination light path of the light source lamp. A reflective filter that reflects light of a wavelength that acts a heat source in illumination light is provided in one of the multiple opening portions of the rotary plate. The heat absorbing portion absorbs heat included in reflected light reflected by the reflective filter in the opening portion. The filter mounting member disposes the reflective filter in the opening portion at a predetermined angle of inclination to the optical axis of the illumination light. By disposing the inclined reflective filter in the illumination light path, reflected light reflected by the reflective filter is reflected towards the heat absorbing portion.

摘要： A wavelength selective switch of the present invention angularly disperses lights output from a plurality of input ports of an input and output optical system, to an X-direction, according to wavelength, by a diffraction grating to supply the dispersed lights to a condenser lens. The condenser lens is arranged so that a center axis thereof is shifted to the X-direction relative to an axis passing through the center of spreading angle to the X-direction of output beams from the diffraction grating, and accordingly, at a non-operating time, the light of each wavelength passed through the condenser lens is incident on each movable mirror being tilted by an offset angle corresponding to a shift amount of the condenser lens. As a result, it becomes possible to block the connection between an input side and an output side at the non-operating time without degrading the performance at an operating time.
