摘要: Provided is a storage system, including: one or more disk drives storing data; a disk controller for controlling data access to the disk drive; a power supply controller for autonomously turning off a power source of the disk drive according to the data access status to the disk drive, and autonomously turning on the power source of the disk drive, which was turned off, after the lapse of a prescribed period from the time the power source was turned off irrespective of the data access status to the disk drive; and a media inspection unit for inspecting a failure in the disk drive in which the power source thereof was autonomously turned on irrespective of the data access status to the disk drive.

摘要: A unit for separating an exhaust gas containing PFC gases including CF4 and C2F6 generated in a production process, wherein the exhaust gas is concentrated in a concentration device, and then separated chromatographically in a chromatographic separation device using nitrogen as a carrier gas. The chromatographic separation device is packed with molecular sieve 13X or F-9 or the like. The unit is capable of effectively separating CF4 and C2F6.

摘要: In a hybrid vehicle where an engine, a first motor, and a driveshaft are all connected to a planetary gear mechanism and the driveshaft is further linked to a second motor, when a battery is in an unchargeable state in the release of both an accelerator and a brake (step S130), a throttle opening TH* and a valve timing VVT* for air intake and exhaust are set to increase a pumping loss of the engine with an increase in absolute value of a braking power demand, which is to be output to the driveshaft (step S170). The engine is controlled with the throttle opening TH* and the valve timing VVT*, while the second motor is under regenerative control to generate electric power. The first motor used for motoring of the engine is then controlled to consume the electric power generated by the regenerative control of the second motor.

摘要: The present invention provides a file management system and method, and a storage system that can prevent file-multiplexing in a storage apparatus, and efficiently use the storage capacity of the storage apparatus. The storage apparatus stores first management information for managing two or more kinds of classification list, each classification list including one or more keywords, and second management information for managing the kinds of classification list set for each of one or more users with regard to each of one or more tiers of their respective virtual file trees; and sends, in response to a request from a client apparatus to search the classification lists for a classification list set for a directory, the classification list set for the relevant user with regard to the tier matching the request to the client apparatus with reference to the first and second management information.

摘要: From layout information which was generated from a net list of a semiconductor integrated circuit, extracted are a critical path to guaranteed operating frequency and physical information such as wiring congestion and via density, and on the basis of the physical information, a place to be easily broken down is specified, and a critical path, in which a delay fault is envisaged, is sorted out from critical paths, and a test pattern is generated only as to the selected critical path. On that occasion, by use of automatic test pattern generation software, and by use of a weighting application verification model which is obtained from critical path sorting information based on physical information, a weighting factor of a critical path is given.

摘要: There is provided a data processing method for a disk array device capable of achieving a duplex system of data and improving performance of the same device while a quantity of processing for writing into a cache memory (through a switch) is reduced. In the disk array device, a host interface portion comprises a nonvolatile memory portion for saving data written from a host computer/server, and a data transfer control portion for transferring write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and a global cache memory portion. If a write request is received from the host computer/server, a data transfer control portion transfers the write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and to the global cache memory portion through a switch portion.
