摘要： A screening assembly 10 includes at least one rail 14 to be secured to a support member of a screening machine to lie parallel to, and intermediate, side members of the screening machine. At least one locating formation 18 stands proud of an operatively upper surface of each rail 14. The assembly includes a plurality of screening modules 12. Each screening module 12 has an end supported on the rail 14 so that a pair of modules 12 lie in end-to-end abutting relationship with the abutting ends, in use, overlying the rail 12 and defining a receiving formation through which the locating formation 18 protrudes to project beyond the receiving formation into a recessed region defined by the abutting ends of the pair of modules 12. A locking member 46 is associated with the receiving formation and is receivable in the recessed region for engaging its associated locating formation to lock the pair of modules with respect to each other and with respect to the rail 14. An upper surface of the locking member 46, when the locking member is received in the recessed region, lies substantially flush with upper surfaces of the modules 12 of the pair of modules.

摘要： An apparatus for and a process of evaluating well bore flow of water and for sampling of water within a well. A hose is inserted into the well to a known depth. To evaluate the water, a tracer fluid is introduced into the hose until the pressure within the hose exceeds the hydrostatic pressure at the known depth by a preset amount. The tracer fluid is then rapidly released into the well. The tracer fluid is detected in water pumped from the well, and the elapsed time between release of the tracer fluid into the well and detection of the tracer fluid in the water pumped from the well is determined. The process is repeated at a second known depth, and the tracer fluid travel time between the two depths is determined. From this and the cross-sectional area of the well, the incremental volumetric well bore inflow to the well between the two depths is calculated. The process can be repeated at several depths within the well to permit construction of a velocity profile of water movement within the well. To obtain a water sample from the well, the hose is inserted to the desired depth, and an inert gas is introduced into the hose. The gas is then vented from the hose, and water from the well enters the hose to replace the vented gas. The hose is then withdrawn from the well, and gas is again introduced into the hose, causing the water sample to be discharged. Appropriate valves are provided to control the apparatus.

摘要： A transport apparatus for boards or workpieces in board form, for example printed circuit boards which are to be coated with plastic, for example UV curable plastic, has advancing means for the transport of the boards and grippers or clamps for seizing the board edges during the transport and advancement of the boards. In order to avoid a risk of damaging the sensitive board surfaces, in particular when transferring the boards from one conveyor to the other, the gripper or grippers or clamps is/are attached to a holding element or rack, releasably coupled to the transporting or advancing means of the apparatus. This holding element remains connected, via its grippers to the board during the complete transport of the latter and can be transferred and reloaded together with the board held by it at transitions from one advancing means to another or from one processing station to the other. The handling of the boards is thus in practice directed instead to its holding elements and consequently the risk which this handling entails is kept away from the boards.

摘要： A conveying apparatus for panels is equipped with two revolving endless conveyor belt members such as chains etc. The chains are connected with each other with successively arranged transverse organs such as cross bars. On each cross bar there are mounted displaceably with braking two panel-engaging devices comprising clamping springs for gripping and transferring panels from a charging to a discharging station past a random number of intermediate processing stations. Two pneumatically operable pusher members push the panel-engaging devices into contact with the lateral edges of an arriving panel and cause the clamping springs to grip the panel. At the discharging station, two separating pusher members of similar construction open the clamping springs and push the panel-engaging devices apart toward their terminal positions at opposite ends of their cross bar, thus setting the panel free to be discharged from the apparatus.

摘要： In providing perforation uniformity both in the spacing between multiple rows of perforations in sheet material and in the spacings among perforations within each row, a common laser beam is shared among the rows, being directed to the sheet material through a common focusing element for each adjacent pair of rows. In conducting the laser beam to each such common focusing element, a pair of modified beams is derived from the laser beam, each modified beam having light ray content divergent about an axis of symmetry thereof which is parallel to the optical axis of the focusing element.

摘要： A beverage container for a blender includes one or more vibrating mechanisms coupled to a bottom portion of the beverage container or integrated within one or more walls of the beverage container. After a beverage has been blended, the one or more vibrating mechanisms are activated as the beverage is being poured. Vibrations from the one or more vibrating mechanisms are mechanically transmitted to the beverage container, thereby promoting the pourability of the beverage from the beverage container, including dislodging ingredients in the beverage that became lodged or trapped in crevices of the beverage container during the prior blending process, and freeing up beverage ingredients that accumulated at the bottom of the beverage container during the prior blending process.
