    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for co-located Basic Service Sets (BSSs). A BSS refers to an access point (AP), wireless channel configuration, and associated stations (STAs). In one aspect, a wireless local area network (WLAN) apparatus may operate multiple virtual access points (VAPs) and multiple BSSs. The BSS may be considered co-located if they are implemented in the same physical device (such as a WLAN apparatus). Furthermore, the BSSs may be considered co-hosted if they share the same band and wireless channel, but independently signal different management frames. To aid STAs in learning about the co-located or co-hosted BSSs, the present disclosure provides techniques to advertise the co-located or co-hosted BSSs. Further improvements for co-hosted BSSs include the use of control frames that can aggregate information for more than one co-hosted BSS sharing a same wireless channel.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for communicating in a wireless network. In one aspect, a first wireless communication device may generate a first frame that includes at least a first aggregated media access control protocol data unit (A-MPDU). The first A-MPDU may include one or more media access control protocol data units (MPDUs). The first wireless communication device may set a first recipient address (RA) field to a first value in a first MPDU, and set a first field in the first MPDU to a second value that represents an identifier of a second wireless communication device. In one aspect, the first wireless communication device may set a second field in the first MPDU to a third value that represents an identifier of a third wireless communication device. The wireless communication device may output the first frame for transmission to at least the second and third wireless communication devices.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication performed by a wireless communication device. An example wireless communication device includes an access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD). The AP MLD transmits a beacon frame to a wireless station (STA) MLD, the beacon frame including a plurality of AP medium access control (MAC) addresses of respective APs belonging to the AP MLD. The AP MLD receives an association request from the STA MLD, the association request including a plurality of STA MAC addresses of respective STAs belonging to the STA MLD. The AP MLD generates, during a handshake operation with the STA MLD, one or more encryption keys configured to encrypt communications between the AP MLD and the STA MLD. The AP MLD verifies the plurality of STA MAC addresses based at least in part on the one or more encryption keys.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems (e.g., Wi-Fi systems), two stations (STAs) may support communicating different information simultaneously via multiple links, channels, resource units, etc. Simultaneous communication may be enabled by a multi-band aggregation system, an enhanced preamble puncturing system, a multi-resource unit assignment system, a full duplex system, or some combination of these. A transmitting STA may transmit data to a receiving STA in a first set of resources while communicating different information with the STA in a second set of resources. The communicating may involve an additional transmission of data, control information, or management information, or receiving feedback from the receiving STA. In some examples, the data transmission may occur on a data channel, while the control information and feedback may occur on a control channel. The simultaneous communication may improve communication throughput while reducing feedback latency in the system.

    Abstract: Techniques for implementing low latency communications in a wireless local area network are provided. A first wireless communication device may implement a low latency basic service set (BSS) that allows contention-based channel access over a portion of a bandwidth. The first wireless communication device may configure a primary channel and one or more secondary channels within an available bandwidth. Communications with one or more wireless communication devices that have data traffic associated with a quality of service (QoS) parameter may be provided over one or more of the secondary channels. A transmission from a second wireless communication device on the primary channel may be discarded by the first wireless communication device, or the first wireless communication device may take over channel access from the second wireless communication device if such a transmission overlaps with low latency transmissions on the one or more secondary channels.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems of wireless communication in accordance with hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) techniques. Some implementations more specifically relate to aligning aggregate medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (A-MPDU) subframes with codeword boundaries in a physical-layer service data unit (PSDU). The alignment may be performed by selectively adding padding bits to the PSDU based on the size of each A-MPDU subframe and the lengths of the codewords. In some aspects, an A-MPDU subframe may be aligned with a first codeword of the PSDU so that the first A-MPDU subframe is encoded exclusively within the first codeword. In some other aspects, an A-MPDU subframe may be aligned with two or more contiguous codewords of the PSDU so that the two or more contiguous codewords include the A-MPDU subframe and no portions of any other A-MPDU subframe.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for wireless communications. In some implementations, a first access point (AP) may identify other APs to participate in a coordinated access point transmission session, may obtain a transmit opportunity (TXOP) for transmitting wireless signals over a frequency bandwidth, may allocate corresponding portions of the frequency bandwidth to the identified APs for downlink (DL) transmissions during the TXOP, may select a duration of the TXOP for the coordinated access point transmission session based at least in part on an amount or percentage of the first AP's frequency bandwidth that is allocated to the one or more identified APs for the coordinated access point transmission session, and may output information indicative of at least one of the selected TXOP duration or the corresponding portions of the frequency bandwidth allocated to the respective identified AP by the first AP.
