摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for identifying frames or packets of data that were received in error (such as incorrectly decoded or not received at all) by a receiving device for purposes of retransmission. In one aspect, a wireless device may form a number of frames for wireless transmission. Each of the frames may include a frame header and may be associated with a unique sequence number. In some implementations, for each of the frames, the wireless device may embed at least a portion of the unique sequence number into a portion of a control field or a delimiter field of the frame header. In some other implementations, for each of the frames, the wireless device may signal at least a portion of the unique sequence number using bit locations unassociated with a sequence number field of the frame header.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for implementing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) protocol in a wireless local area network (WLAN). In some aspects, a first WLAN device may transmit a first HARQ frame to a second WLAN device. The first WLAN device may receive a first feedback message from the second WLAN device. The first feedback message may be a HARQ Block Acknowledgement (H-BA) message. The first WLAN device may determine to enable the HARQ protocol based on the first feedback message. The first WLAN device may receive an indication of an amount of memory available at the second WLAN device for processing HARQ transmissions. The first WLAN device may transmit a second HARQ frame to the second WLAN device based, at least in part, on the amount of memory available at the second WLAN device for processing HARQ transmissions.

In some implementations, a first access point (AP) may identify other APs to participate in a coordinated access point transmission session, may obtain a transmit opportunity (TXOP) for transmitting wireless signals over a frequency bandwidth, may allocate corresponding portions of the frequency bandwidth to the identified APs for downlink (DL) transmissions during the TXOP, may select a duration of the TXOP for the coordinated access point transmission session based at least in part on an amount or percentage of the first AP's frequency bandwidth that is allocated to the one or more identified APs for the coordinated access point transmission session, and may output information indicative of at least one of the selected TXOP duration or the corresponding portions of the frequency bandwidth allocated to the respective identified AP by the first AP.

The control information field may include one or more subfields containing the QoS feedback information. The method may further include generating the frame comprising the selected number of control fields, and outputting the frame for transmission.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for improved handling of adjacent channel interference in multi-link aggregation scenarios. In accordance with the described techniques, a device may establish a set of wireless links for communication with a second device, the set of wireless links supporting parallel transmission during at least a first duration of a multi-link session, the set of wireless links including at least a first wireless link and a second wireless link. The device may modify a transmission parameter for the first wireless link or a clear channel assessment (CCA) parameter for the second wireless link, or a combination thereof. The device may then perform the CCA procedure on the second wireless link and transmit at least a first portion of the message on the first wireless link based on the modified transmission parameter or modified CCA parameter.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for orthogonal multiplexing of high efficiency (HE) and extremely high throughput (EHT) wireless traffic. Devices in a wireless local area network (WLAN) may operate under HE or EHT conditions. An access point (AP) may support both HE and EHT communications with WLAN devices. To enable substantially simultaneous downlink HE and EHT transmissions and substantially simultaneous uplink HE and EHT transmissions, the AP may support orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) of HE and EHT transmissions. For example, pre-HE and pre-EHT modulated fields, HE and EHT modulated fields, and payloads may be aligned in time for the HE and EHT transmissions. The AP may ensure orthogonality for multiplexing the HE and EHT transmissions based on the alignment. In some implementations, a trigger frame may be utilized to indicate uplink transmission alignments.

HE supported access points (APs) and stations (STAs) may operate on resource deployments used for Wi-Fi technology and without support for legacy devices, also referred to as a greenfield deployment. An AP may identify updated capability information and transmit a HE physical layer convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) including a beacon frame. A STA may receive, from the AP, the HE or EHT PPDU and identify an indication of change to a content or format of the beacon frame relative to a reference beacon frame. Based on the identified indication, the STA may then determine an updated content or format for the beacon frame and process the beacon frame or skip processing for one or more portions of the beacon frame.

The AP may initiate implicit sounding by transmitting a downlink message that includes an uplink NDP announcement frame to the one or more STAs, prompting uplink multi-user (MU) NDP transmission. The AP may estimate the uplink channel based on measuring the received NDPs and mirror the estimated uplink channel for reciprocal downlink channel estimation and precoding generation. The AP may perform MU multiple input multiple output (MIMO) downlink transmission that is precoded based on the channel estimation.

Using partial channel puncturing, a wireless local area network (WLAN) device may modulate data on a first portion of a wireless channel while refraining from modulating data on a second portion of the wireless channel. The partial channel puncturing can be used with an exclusion bandwidth zone defined for the WLAN. The exclusion bandwidth zone prevents transmissions on portions of channels so that the WLAN transmissions do not interfere with an incumbent system transmission in the exclusion bandwidth zone.
