    Abstract: An example electronic device may include a display including a main display area and at least one expansion display area expandable from the main display area; and a processor operatively coupled to the display. The processor is configured to, while the electronic device is in a slide-in state, display, on the main display area, a first screen corresponding to an application executed in the slide-in state; based on a portion of the expansion display area being slid out, generate a second screen to be displayed on the main display area and a portion of the slid-out expansion display area; generate a slide effect screen and display the same on at least a portion of the slid-out expansion display area, at least at the same time as the generation of the second screen; and based on the generation of the second screen being completed, remove the display of the slide effect screen and display the second screen on the main display area and the slid-out expansion display area.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a display panel, a display driving circuit, and at least one processor operatively connected to the display driving circuit. The at least one processor may be configured to: determine a resolution of each of a plurality of applications, and generate a frame image including regions corresponding to execution screens of the plurality of applications and determined resolutions of the plurality of applications, based at least partially on the resolutions of the plurality of applications and/or information on a display region corresponding to the execution screens of the plurality of applications on the display panel, and transmit, to the display driving circuit, the frame image and coordinate information of each of the regions included in the frame image. The display driving circuit up-scales at least a portion, which has resolution lower than resolution of the display panel, of the regions included in the frame image, based on the frame image and the coordinate information of each of the regions, such that the frame image has resolution corresponding to the resolution of the display panel and control the display panel to display the execution screen of each of the plurality of applications, based on the up-scaled frame image.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display panel and a camera module arranged under the display panel. The display panel may include a first area including a first plurality of pixels having a first pixel density and overlapping the camera module, a second area including a second plurality of pixels having a second pixel density greater than the first pixel density, a first light reflection blocking layer arranged in all or at least a portion of the first area, and a plurality of transparent wiring lines arranged under first organic light-emitting diodes arranged in the first area. The first light reflection blocking layer may be arranged to overlap lower portions of the first organic light-emitting diodes arranged in the first area.
