    摘要: A format of data recorded in a DVD-Audio disc is composed of an audio manager (AMG) and a plurality of audio title sets (ATSS) following the AMG. A plurality of audio packs are arranged in each ATS. An audio signal indicating a musical composition is encoded to audio data in a signal processing circuit, and the audio data is arranged in the audio packs. The audio data of the audio packs are formatted in a DVD formatting unit with the AMG to be arranged in the ATSs following the AMG. Also, copyright information is arranged in an area of a control data block placed in a read-in area of the DVD-Audio disc. Table-of-contents (TOC) information indicating a top address of the audio data is automatically produced and is arranged in an empty area of the control data block reserved for the copyright information, in an area of the audio packs, in an area of the AMG or in an area of the ATSs. The AMG, the ATSs including the audio packs and the TOC information arranged at the data format in the DVD formatting unit are transmitted to a human editor through a transmission medium and is recorded in the DVD-Audio disc.

A central connecting portion is provided to connect an axial central portion of at least one of the first and second connecting-pin bearing portions to an axial central portion of the crankpin bearing portion. The central connecting portion has an axial length L1 shorter than each of an axial length L2 of the crankpin bearing portion, an axial length L3 of the first connecting-pin bearing portion, and an axial length L4 of the second connecting-pin bearing portion.

    摘要: In an audio signal encoding apparatus, a first audio signal and a second audio signal are added into an addition-result signal. The first audio signal is subtracted from the second audio signal to generate a subtraction-result signal. A first difference signal is generated which represents a difference in the addition-result signal. A second difference signal is generated which represents a difference in the subtraction-result signal. A plurality of first predictors have different prediction characteristics respectively, and are responsive to the first difference signal for generating first different prediction signals for the first difference signal, respectively. A plurality of first subtracters operate for generating first prediction-error signals representing differences between the first difference signal and the first different prediction signals, respectively. A first minimum prediction-error signal representative of a smallest difference is selected from among the first prediction-error signals. A plurality of second predictors have different prediction characteristics respectively, and are responsive to the second difference signal for generating second different prediction signals for the second difference signal, respectively. A plurality of second subtracters operate for generating second prediction-error signals representing differences between the second difference signal and the second different prediction signals, respectively. A second minimum prediction-error signal representative of a smallest difference is selected from among the second prediction-error signals.

    摘要: A flow meter for a multiphase flow which comprises a cross-correlation flow meter (26) for measuring basic values to calculate component ratios of respective fluids constituting a multiphase fluid (2) comprising a gas and a plurality of liquids in a pipe (1) through which the multiphase fluid flows; and an arithmetic circuit (22) for calculating flow rates of the respective fluids, which acquires information concerning ratios of liquid phase components of the multiphase fluid (2) on the basis of both measured values obtained by the cross-correlation flow meter (26) at an instance when the pipe (1) is filled with liquid alone during the passage of the multiphase fluid (2) through the pipe (1) provided with the cross-correlation flow meter (26) and characteristic values of the respective fluids of the multiphase fluid (2), acquires information concerning ratios of the respective fluids from a time average of the measurements obtained by the cross-correlation flow meter (26) and the respective characteristic values, then obtains the component ratios of the respective fluids by utilizing the fact that a sum of the component ratios of the respective fluids becomes (1), calculates an average flow velocity of the multiphase fluid (2) from time between fluctuations of the measured values obtained by the cross-correlation flow meter (26), and calculates flow rates of the respective fluids by utilizing the respective component ratios and the average flow velocity.
