    摘要: A print control apparatus includes an interface controller, a counter, a paper feed controller, and a print controller. The controllers operate in parallel in accordance with a value of the counter and a status of a paper sheet. The number of print instruction or instructions from an external device is counted by the counter, and, if the value counted by the counter is not “0” and if a printing apparatus is ready for feeding a paper sheet, the paper feed controller initiates picking up a paper sheet from a paper feed cassette and conveying it. In turn, the value counted by the counter is decreased by 1. When the print controller detects that the paper sheet is conveyed to a printing position, the paper sheet is printed. The external device can inquire regarding the current value of the counter as well as instruct the decrease or clearance of the value of the counter. Thereby, the external device can know the number of printings to be performed and/or erase a print instruction or instructions which have been outputted to the printing apparatus.

    摘要: The current methods and systems for correcting image information improve input and output characteristics. Although .gamma. correction curves have been used in prior art, the current invention allows more refined control in the correction process without additional parameters or hardware. The refined control includes adjustments at a localized area of the correction curve, an efficient conversion between a standard range value and a device-dependent value, a color-specific correction and a flexible user interface. Furthermore, the above described advantages are provided on demand rather than storing the pre-calculated information.

    摘要: A magnetic thin film manufacturing method in which an object of treatment is electroplated in a plating bath so that a magnetic thin film is formed on the surface of the object of treatment. The plating bath contains two or more types of ions selected from a set consisting of Fe.sup.2+ ions, Ni.sup.2+ ions and Co.sup.2+ ions, and fine particles of an insulating material are dispersed in the plating bath. In a more particular embodiment of the invention, a magnetic thin film manufacturing method is characterized by the fact that �a! the aforementioned two or more types of ions selected from a set consisting of Fe.sup.2+ ions, Ni.sup.2+ ions and Co.sup.2+ ions are supplied by means of sulfates and/or chlorides, �b! the plating bath is an acidic bath, and �c! the fine particles of an insulating material that are dispersed in the plating bath are colloidal particles of SiO.sub.2 and/or Al.sub.2 O.sub.3.

The image coding apparatus outputs the coded data and data representing the number of times the converting operation is repeated.
