    摘要: A recording apparatus comprises a conveying roller for conveying a recording medium, a conveying motor for generating driving force to drive the conveying roller, a driving transmitter for transmitting the driving force of the conveying motor to the conveying roller, a detector for detecting a rotation angle of the conveying roller, and a controller for controlling driving and stopping of the conveying roller on the basis of a signal from the detector, wherein a conveying quantity of the recording medium at a time of recording operation is an integer multiple of a conveying quantity of the recording medium corresponding to one period of a torque change or a speed change caused by the conveying motor or the driving transmitter, so that stop accuracy of the recording medium is not influenced by a torque (speed) ripple of the conveying motor or the transmitter.

    摘要: A recording apparatus includes a conveying mechanism control unit which performs a first processing and a second processing almost simultaneously, when it is detected that a recording medium has reached a stop position. The first processing is to make invalid the output of a servo computing device and make effective the output in accordance with an output-for-stop setting register. The second processing is to generate an auto stop interrupt to inform that the output in accordance with the output-for-stop setting register is made effective. With this configuration, the recording apparatus enables the increase in speed of a stop operation control processing of a DC motor for use in conveying a recording medium and the improvement of the stop position accuracy of the recording medium.

    摘要: A cleaning device for an inkjet recording head is provided for unerringly cleaning wiper blades by means of a wiper cleaner. An inkjet recording device is also provided. In the cleaning device, a rib and a canopy are formed on a blade cleaner used to scrape off any foreign matter, such as ink, stuck on the wiper blades. The range of contact of the wiper blades and the blade cleaner when a cleaning operation is started is limited. Accordingly, the canopy limits the range of accumulation of the foreign matter scraped off from the wiper blades.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head for recording by discharging ink on a recording medium and a plurality of waste ink storage members connected in series for receiving waste ink from only one recording head and provided within empty space in the apparatus. The waste ink is exhausted by a discharge recovery process in order to maintain a state of ink discharge in said recording head at least in a good condition. Each waste ink storage member includes an aperture on its surface covered with a breathable fabric to allow air into the ink storage member.
