    摘要: The invention concerns a protective device comprising an airbag worn by a person, a pyrotechnic gas generator for inflating the airbag, and an actuator for the gas generator. The invention is such that the gas generator has a dual state combustion. Preferably, the generator is single-piece with single ignition. The invention device enables to provide a first inflating phase lasting about 60 ms at most, preferably between 30 and 50 ms; then a second phase maintaining inflation lasting at least a few seconds, preferably at least 4 s, more preferably still between 5 and 8 s.

    摘要: An impact minimization device for a user includes a processor that transmits a signal in response to an indication of upcoming impact, an inflatable member, and a gas source, flexibly disposed within the inflatable member, which, in response to the signal, inflates the inflatable member. The processor may be disposed within the inflatable member and may be in wireless communication with the gas source. Furthermore, the processor may include at least one sensor and a logic unit. The logic unit may compare sensed data from the sensor with pre-defined data, determine when the sensed data indicates upcoming impact, and activate the gas source thereupon.

The systems parts have a component-based construction composed of different components, which communicate with one another in order to carry out different functions. Each component has a function-calling interface, via which the function carried out by the component can be called up by other components, in this system part or in another system part, and a configuration interface via which its configuration can be defined and varied. A configuration manager unit, provided for this purpose, configures the components via this interface depending on what other components are present in the system.
