    摘要: A partially preloaded diaphragm having an outer attachment portion defining a first plane (P) and disposed about an axis substantially perpendicular to the first plane. An inner attachment portion is disposed substantially perpendicular to the axis of the outer attachment portion and defines a second plane (C). The inner attachment portion is movable away from the outer attachment portion into a fully extended pumping position defining a third plane (F). The first plane and the second plane are spaced at a distance to define a preload distance (PC) when the diaphragm is at rest, and the first and third plane are spaced to define a pump stroke distance (PF) when the diaphragm is fully extended. The preload distance is from about 25 percent to about 85 percent of the pump stroke distance.

    摘要: An air compressor unit having an enclosure that permits adequate cooling air flow, and reduces the amount of noise that emanates from the air compressor unit. The enclosure has a partition that separates the interior of the enclosure into two compartments: a discharge compartment and a component compartment. A discharge aperture is in fluid flow communication with the discharge compartment. A compressor and motor are contained in the component compartment. The component compartment may be separated in a first compartment and a second compartment. Inlets allow cooling air to enter the enclosure, and a discharge aperture permits the cooling air to exit the enclosure. A blower draws cooling air into the enclosure through the inlets. An aftercooler is located between the compressor and the discharge aperture. The enclosure and compartments are configured to reduce the amount of direct nullline of sightnull noise that emanates from the air compressor unit.

    摘要: A pneumatic tool is provided having a housing with an exhaust passageway and a handle. The handle has an inlet that receives the housing, an outlet having at least one exhaust port, and an interior surface that defines an exhaust chamber. The exhaust passageway, exhaust chamber, and the at least one exhaust port are sequentially in fluid communication when the housing is inserted into the handle. A seal disposed between the interior surface of the handle and the housing, the seal being located between the exhaust chamber and the inlet. Also provided is a handle substrate with an inlet that receives the housing and an interior surface that defines an exhaust chamber. The exhaust chamber is in fluid communication with the exhaust passageway when the housing is inserted into the handle. An endcap is removably attached to the handle and has an outlet with at least one exhaust port in fluid communication with the exhaust chamber. A seal is disposed at an interface between the handle and the endcap.

The counterweight moves between a first position where a first surface on the counterweight contacts a second surface on the eccentric weight and a second position where the first surface of the counterweight is separated from the second surface of the eccentric weight. One of the entire first or second surfaces engages the other of the first surface or second surface when the eccentric weight and the counterweight are in the first position.

    摘要: A compression system includes a sequencing switch movable between a first switch position and a second switch position for alternating a first compressor and a second compressor between a lead mode and a lag mode so that one of the compressors is always in the lead mode and one of the compressors is always in the lag mode. The compression system includes a first compressor including a first microcontroller having a data entry device for establishing a lead mode pressure range and a lag mode pressure range. The first compressor includes a first pressure gauge for sensing the pressure level of compressed fluid discharged therefrom and for relaying the sensed pressure level to the first microcontroller. The first microcontroller continuously monitors the pressure level of the compressed fluid discharged from the first compressor and compares the pressure level of the compressed fluid to the lead mode pressure range and the lag mode pressure range. The second compressor includes a second microcontroller having a data entry device for establishing a lead mode pressure range and a lag mode pressure range, the second compressor including a second pressure gauge for sensing a pressure level of compressed fluid discharged therefrom and for relaying the sensed pressure level to the second microcontroller. The second microcontroller continuously monitors the pressure level of the compressed fluid discharged from the second compressor and compares the sensed pressure level of the compressed fluid to the lead mode pressure range and the lag mode pressure range. The first microcontroller and the first pressure gauge function independently of the second microcontroller and the second pressure gauge, thereby obviating the need for additional external controllers which are generally complex and costly.
