摘要: A portable device may include a housing sized and shaped to enclose: a power source, a wireless communication module including an antenna and associated transceiver circuitry coupled with the antenna to receive and transmit wireless signals, a human-interaction interface, a memory storing computer-readable instructions; and a processor in communication with the power source, the wireless communication module, and the memory. The housing may be sized and shaped to self-stand when placed at a location. The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, may cause the portable device to: scan, using the wireless communication module, for ones of the plurality of wireless nodes within operating range of the wireless communication module, receive, in response to the scan, wireless-node data from responding ones of the plurality of wireless nodes, generate a user-interpretable signal based on the wireless-node data; and output, using the human-interaction interface, the user-interpretable signal.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for creating a monitoring network are described. A server associates a master wireless node with a package in a first set of associated packages. The server and the master wireless node communicate with one another over first type of wireless communications interface. The server also associates a peripheral wireless node with another package in the set and with the master node. The peripheral wireless node and the master wireless node communicate with one another over a second type of wireless communications interface. The peripheral node includes a sensor operative to generate sensor data by sensing an environmental condition. The master wireless node processes the sensor data to generate one or more package-level statistics of the processed sensor data.

摘要: Systems and methods monitor loading of cargo onto a transport vehicle to avoid incorrect cargo loading incidents. A wireless monitoring device positioned near an access port of a cargo hold of the transport vehicle receives a tracking identifier of a wireless tracking tag attached to a logistic container containing the cargo as the logistic container is conveyed into the cargo hold. An alert is generated by the wireless monitoring device when the tracking identifier is not listed in a manifest listing identifiers of wireless tracking tags attached to logistic containers expected to be loaded into the cargo hold. Within the cargo hold, the wireless tracking tags may also exchange their tracking identifiers such that any one of the wireless tracking tags may determine, by counting, when less than a target threshold number of wireless tracking tags are present.

摘要: A method and system for replacing a first wireless node in an IoT system includes determining, by the first wireless node, that the first wireless node needs imminent replacement. The determination may be made, for example, based on a battery of the first wireless node being below a threshold level. The first wireless node initiates a discovery protocol for a second wireless node installed in proximity to the first wireless node, the second wireless node installed to replace the first wireless node. Upon discovery of the second wireless node, the first wireless node transmits a configuration file to the second wireless node, which the second wireless node copies to a storage of the second wireless node. The second wireless node configures itself to operate as a replacement for the first wireless node in the IoT system, based at least in part on the copied configuration file.

Interactions are stored by the tape nodes, uploaded to the wireless tracking system, and may be retrieved at a later time responsive to an event occurring, such as suspected contamination or incorrect use of machinery.

Each of the wireless integrated RFID readers includes an RFID antenna, an electronics module coupled to the RFID antenna configured to operate the RFID antenna and interpret data signals received at the RFID antenna from one or more RFID tags, and a wireless communication system of a first type configured to wirelessly communicate with wireless nodes of the RFID reader system. The wireless communication gateway includes a wireless communication system of the first type configured to wirelessly communicate with the plurality of wireless integrated RFID readers.
