摘要： An assembly and method for installing a viewing window into a single hole in a panel of an enclosure from a single side. A viewing window assembly comprises actuators and attachment members configurable to allow the attachment members to pass through a hole in a panel from a front side. Upon actuation of the actuators, the attachment members may engage one or both of the back surface of the panel and the inner edge of the hole therein in order to secure the window assembly to the panel.

The assembly preferably includes two identical frame halves carrying bosses on which modular clip members are secure. The clip members each carry a male post member and a female socket member. The first and second frame components are constructed to permit arrangement of the first and second frame components in an assembled state and a nested state with respect to one another. In the assembled state, the first screw bosses are correspondingly aligned with the second screw bosses, and the first and second frame components are secured to each other. In the nested state, at least one of the first screw bosses of the first frame component is mated with at least one of the second grip sockets of the second frame component.

摘要： A door comprising first and second door skins secured to each other to form a cavity therebetween filled with expended foam. Each of the door skins has an opening therethrough for receiving a glass insert and a flange portion. Distal ends of the flange portions of the first and second door skins engage each other in an overlapping relationship by the expansion pressure of the expanded foam. The door further comprises a glazing rim member having a leg portion snap-locked between the flange portions of the first and second door skins. The method for assembling the door comprises the steps of filling the cavity between the door skins with foam material, then inserting the glass insert through the openings in the door skins and mounting the glazing rim member to the first door skin by snap-locking between the flange portions of the first and second door skins.

摘要： The Invention relates to Vision Panel Assembly for a twin sheet door/window and a method of installation. The vision panel assembly comprises of a frame, brackets, a vision panel and securing means for fastening the vision panel assembly. In one embodiment of the invention the vision panel is installed equidistant from either sheet of the twin sheet door/window. In a second embodiment the vision panel is installed to one side of the vision panel assembly to rest against the cutout in the Outside sheet of the twin sheet door/window. The method of installing the vision panel assembly comprises the steps of making cutouts of equal or unequal dimensions on both sheets of the door/window, fixing the frame members onto the inner surface of the sheets of the twin sheet door/window to form the frame and securing the vision panel into position in the frame with the help of brackets which are fastened into the frame using securing means.
