    摘要： The present invention relates to an improved system for digitizing analog electronic signals. The programmed-sweep unit of the present invention is used in conjunction with a computer of average transients (CAT) and serves to vary the CAT''s dwell time during a sweep so as to optimize placement of sampling points, thereby improving the CAT''s capability of digitizing rapidly varying signals.
