Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for measuring latency in a network device, which can include a signal generator, a sampler, a pulse detector, a timer, and a connector. The signal generator can define a signal profile. The sampler can sample the signal profile at a frequency of at least 4 GHz to generate a plurality of bits, each bit corresponding to a value of the signal profile during the sampling. The pulse detector can detect a change in the signal profile by detecting at least one change in the plurality of bits. The timer can time the change in value in the plurality of bits to provide at least one detection time measurement. The connector can electronically link the signal generator and the sampler to the network device to provide an external network path for transmitting a signal from the signal generator to the sampler via the network device.

Abstract: An injection molding machine includes a first mold section comprising mold cores for forming threaded articles, the first mold cores movable between a molding position for interacting with a second mold section in a mold area to form the threaded articles, and an auxiliary position outside the mold area, and a removal device for removing the threaded articles from the mold cores. The removal device includes a plurality of unscrewing chucks for engaging the threaded articles when the mold cores are in the auxiliary position. The chucks are supported by a carrier plate and each chuck is rotatable about a respective unscrewing axis. The removal device further includes an orbiting plate coupled to the unscrewing chucks by respective crank arms, the orbiting plate effecting synchronized rotation of the unscrewing chucks via the crank arms for unscrewing the threaded articles from the mold cores.

Abstract: An injection molding machine includes a stationary platen and a moving platen mounted on a machine base, and a rotary apparatus for rotatably supporting a center mold section. The rotary apparatus includes a carriage body including a carriage upper portion supported by first and second carriage rails, and a carriage lower portion extending downward from the carriage upper portion laterally intermediate the first and second carriage rails. The rotary apparatus further includes a rotary table mounted atop the carriage body for rotatably supporting the center mold section. The rotary table is mounted to the carriage body by a rotary table bearing having a combination of bearing elements to bear axial, rotational, and moment loads. The machine further includes a plurality of tie bars extending between the moving platen and the stationary platen. The tie bars are free from engagement by the rotary apparatus.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transporting objects using a cart that is driven by human action or self-driving vehicle is disclosed. A first front wheel and first rear wheel is attached to the first side rail and a second front wheel and second rear wheel is attached to the second rail. The handle portion pushes the cart which comprises of a handle bar supported by vertical support members. The brake actuator is used to engage and release the brakes on the rear wheel. A horizontal engagement bar is used which comprises of a plurality of engagement pads. A payload-bearing surface bears payload such that the payload can be transported by the cart.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle comprises a chassis, two or more drive wheels extending below the chassis, a drive motor housed within the chassis for driving the drive wheels, and a payload surface on top of the chassis for carrying a payload. An illumination system, for emitting light from at least one portion of the chassis, is mounted substantially around the entire perimeter of the chassis. The illumination system may be implemented using an array of light-emitting diodes (“LEDs”) that are arranged as segments. For example, there may be “headlight” segments on the front left and front right corners of the chassis.
