摘要: A manufacturing process for physical components can be optimized using some techniques described herein. For example, a system can receive, via a graphical user interface, a user selection of a particular type of production location. The system can determine a cumulative consumption of a component at the particular type of production location over a particular time window. The system can analyze a group of candidate types of production equipment to identify a particular type of production equipment that can accommodate the cumulative consumption of the component during the particular time window. And the system can execute one or more computing operations configured to facilitate deployment of the particular type of production equipment at the particular type of production location.

摘要: Disclosed herein are non-alcoholic nitrogen infused beverages and method for producing such beverages. The processes described herein comprise producing a mixed gas beverage supported with a foaming agent. Liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide are added to the beverage, with the addition of a foaming agent, such as soapbark extract. In some embodiments, this process provides a nitrogen infused beverage with foaming and cascading capabilities that are equivalent to a nitro experience delivered through a widget can, without the need for the widget or the use of nitrous oxide.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for brewing a desired portion of a beverage, such as an individual serving portion of coffee, are provided. Certain aspects of this disclosure are directed toward a bulk hopper replacement unit, or individual serving feed hopper adapter, that is configured to be docked with an open hopper slot of a bulk hopper assembly of an existing automated bulk coffee brewing system that is typically used to prepare bulk beverages using coffee beans stored in bulk hoppers connected to the system. For example, the individual serving feed hopper adapter can advantageously allow the existing automated bulk coffee brewing system to prepare an individual serving portion of a particular beverage that involves use of ingredients (e.g., coffee beans) that are not currently stored in one of the bulk hoppers.

摘要: An upward flow extraction method, apparatus, and extract are disclosed. The upward flow extraction method can comprise loading extraction material into an extraction cell having a bottom portion and a top portion; introducing a first aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell; expelling gas from the extraction cell through the top portion of the extraction cell; closing the top portion of the extraction cell and increasing the pressure in the extraction cell as extraction medium flows into the bottom portion of the extraction cell; stopping the flow of extraction medium into the extraction cell; steeping the extraction material in the extraction medium under pressure to produce an extract; and introducing a second aliquot of extraction medium through the bottom portion of the extraction cell to push extract through top portion of the extraction cell.
